Honestly my opinion is history doesn't mean much anymore with 6 classes that change every 2-4 years and an economy that has rocked eastern KY. I got to see WH and Robinson in person. He is as good as I have seen. Absolute freak running back. Can and does control games on his own. But you are right maybe D5 does win both home games. It is possible.....they get to play Boyle County and Lexington Catholic if they do............

Neither Paris nor Paintsville were ever even close to where Berea is now. I said it would take drastic change that I just don't see happening. On a side note, JC is at the top now and Bourbon County isn't to bad. Imagine what they would be like IF that happened.....and someday it probably will.

All of us in D5 may have plenty of time to hang treestands for gun season after the 1st round..........

Garrard County looks to be the 4 seed from D4. Whoever is the 1 seed from D5 will have to play very well to win. The 2/3 matchup between Western Hills and whoever is not favorable either....and I am not 100% sold that WH will be the 3. It may be someone else "better" that them. Top to bottom D4 may be the best district on average in the state.

No need for 8 man football. Berea should be consolidated with Madison Southern. You can bet the remaining kids in the Berea system that want to play football won't be there next year. The program, unless something drastically changes, is done.

Wandale Robinson - Western Hills. Ability to change direction at full speed is unreal and his full speed is FAST. Already has big D1 offers and only a Junior. Even bigger offers will be coming in the next 12 months.

I think Fleming wins in a very close game simply on age and experience coupled with the unfortunate injuries Russell has sustained.

Where is Garrard Co ranked? If it ahead of Russell or Fleming that means that every team in D3 is ranked ahead of all of D5. Boy I sure do love the commissioner's playoff cross bracketing.......

It was about 15 minutes and the city police were dispatched. They figured out who it was pretty quick and went to his house. Not sure of the outcome or if additional investigation is going to be pushed by the school board.

Had Estill winning this all season but going to have to go with Breathitt now due to the injuries.

Handled them? I was there as well and it was pretty even and Bath Co's starting QB and RB did not play. But your right that was pre-season and was nothing but practice against another color jersey. Both teams have athletes. The game will be won up front. I will take the Cats at home.

Thought/ predictions?

True. No cheap shots or late hits. Bath was taking a knee at the end a couple of times and both teams on the field were already talking to each other and shaking hands.

Final. Bath County's Swartz has 21 carries for 244 yards and 5 TD's. Pendleton County is much improved though.

Robinson is the real thing. Can cut full speed like no one I've seen in HS around here. And his full speed is a lot faster too.

Does anyone have details on what happened in Carlisle? Was there an injury? Don't think anyone saw that coming.
