This is a good game for both teams. Last season was a battle where both teams can say they left it all on the field. BC was down 21-0 in the 2nd quarter in Stanton and came back to win 32-27 on a Thursday night as the game was moved to avoid the remnants of Hurricane Harvey. Both went on to have good seasons. I agree that Powell Co could run the table from here out especially in district play. I agree that time of possession and turnovers could likely be the key to the outcome. Skidmore is a beast but to say he is BY FAR better than Swartz....I will say they both serve their teams very well with their talents.

My thoughts exactly. If Paintsville goes toe to toe with them and competes throughout the game that’s a win for later on and puts them on that line. If they were to beat a 6A on the road that puts them at the head of the table in my opinion.

I know the term "upset" and "trap game" were thrown about last year but they shouldn't have been. Fleming County was the better team in 2017 and they way the season played out verified that as Fleming won their district for the 1st time in 20 seasons. Greenup Co is the better team in 2018 and those terms will not come into play this Friday night. Greenup Co with a running clock late. I said when Grizzle took over at Greenup Co that he would have them competing every week quickly and he has. The program is growing and only looks to get better. I don't know if they can clip Ashland or JC this season but I look for them to contend yearly for the district next season after the realignment.
