  1. Agreed. And that is exactly how I see Snapp right now... A high d2 player. This thread mentions lots of d1's, which like I said, IMO are not good options for Snapp right now because of his size. As mentioned, if any kid has the work ethic to gain strength in the weightroom its him.
  2. Of course I wish him nothing but the best, but for him to get legit minutes at the next he is going to need to hit the weight room HARD. Kid is a great player and has the work ethic, and obviously has time but (arguably) the biggest difference between college and high school is the physicality.
  3. Most Bob Marley songs will always be played on beaches. I've been to more than 20 countries, probably at least 8 of them beaches and he finds his way to all of them.
  4. No matter who wins or loses, I hope there is a sense of mutual respect from both teams and they enjoy a competitive, clean, and welcoming night of football. Hopefully posters will show their respect as well, win or lose.
  5. Being a CCH alum, it is hard to say. Every single one of my four years was "the year." Every year. I've heard this phrase four times, but "No, seriously, we got them this year. So-and-so is hurt and so-and-so lost to them. Blah blah blah." But for some reason I want to believe it this year. CCH 31 Highlands 25
  6. Unfortunately, I'm like most Americans in this regard and I only watch soccer a few times ever four years so I don't see it often at all. :ohbrother:
  7. Saw in the US vs Germany World Cup game when Clint Dempsey was hurt a German kicked the ball out of bounds during the game to allow him to rest. After Dempsey was removed from the field, USA kicks the ball back to Germany. I guess this is an unwritten courtesy thing? Anyways, really cool to see the respect both teams had for one another on the biggest stage in the world.
  8. Agreed. But the purpose of hiring people is to put more money in their pockets, which is also the goal of the PE firms. Its a tough spot.
  9. Got it. I see the point now and didn't consider it much. The private equity firms I know about that have acquired companies of some people close to me have had more of a hands off approach, which (if you couldn't tell by any of my government posts) I am all about. I can see where if ABC were to fire many workers from XYZ it could cause (overall) hurt to our country. But we have to respect that ABC does have the right to fire XYZ workers and do whatever they feel is best for the company, since it is their money at risk. (Not saying you disagreed with the last sentence, just throwing it out there.)
  10. Got it. I would say no, they are not ruining the country. I don't see a problem with buying a business, increasing the revenue, then selling for a profit. I think it puts more money into the owner's pockets, allowing them to spend it on more goods. Maybe I am not looking deeply enough into it, but what is the negative side of the argument? Is it that employees are worked too much in the buying/selling process?
  11. No, in the simplest way, God does not punish us for sins at all. In the end, we decide whether we will live in eternal happiness or eternal suffering. God merely gives us the directions; it is up to us if we want to use His map or ours.
  12. Who cares. There's almost no one who's opinion matters less than Kanye. "I am a God." Even someone whose an atheist should think that's ridiculous. Guy is straight up an idiot.
  13. Lots of youth cannot look an adult in the eye and communicate effectively. Maybe it comes with time, but everybody's eyes are used to staring at a screen.
  14. After re-reading B ball fan's post I realize my post doesn't really fit in or apply here. Enjoy regardless.
  15. In the Beatles "Strawberry Fields Forever," John says slowly (near the end, I think) "Cranberry Sauce" which has been interpreted as "I buried Paul" - stirring the Paul is Dead case. Not misinterpreted, but also in the Beatles hit "Hey Jude" you can hear Paul say 2 words quietly in the background. I cannot post the words here because of rules... But at 2:57 ( )
  16. Sprint, no major problems. I like them but they are my 3rd company in probably 6 years.
  17. Didn't intentionally leave him out; I'm just more familiar with the 3 I mentioned. As for the Holmes CC talk, maybe they'll meet in the Sweet 16 and we can know for sure! But if that doesn't happen I take Holmes 8 out of 10.
  18. Politically, this is crap. No time necessary. Doing something like that will make him face eternal consequences. As said, should not be punished by the state.
  19. U.S. threatened Yahoo with huge fine over surveillance Big Brother using fines as leverage.
  20. Think its been mentioned, but pictures from this event are going to give Cal all the recruits that are on the fence. If there are any..
