Here's one thing we do know. The HC coaching staff is certainly capable of having their team slow things down. Reference the 35-32 State Championship game orchestrated by the same staff. It was like the Old 4 corners going on out there.

She played a great game! Drove for the winning bucket with 2 seconds left in OT. Appears to be a great leader as well.

Great Game. Scott looked so much better than their first game. Anna Clephane's gaudy stat line: 38 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals. And a buzzer beater 3 pointer to send to OT. All on the BGP's #10 ranked team while being double teamed all night. Maybe she should be added to the Miss Basketball discussion? Why not? Scott has a rough road, with a schedule that currently includes 7 of the top 10 and 10 of the top 20 from BGP's Pre-season top 20 list.

The big miss(and I don't know if offers are out there or not) on this list for D1 recruiters is "where the heck is Kiki Samsel"? Solid ball handler(in a 1 or 2 role), intense defense, runs the floor very well, and get this, shot 46% from behind the arc. And a great positive influence on the bench and at practice. If she wants to play in college, she will help whatever team she is on. Below is a link for her play with KP in Louisville this summer. Not sure what she is looking for from colleges, but they should be looking for her!

How many of those 53 wins do these high schoolers remember/care about. It's all about today/tonight. Let em' have a little clean fun!

How good is Taylor Clos? 35 against one of the best teams in the state? Very impressive.

Every coach wishes they had the players from Highlands, regardless of their physical stature. They have high basketball IQ's, they want to play and they all play extremely hard, all the time!
