Well that's kind of "fairweathering" isnt it? Another option? Scott Boys!! They have some fun ballin' now!! -
LET'S DISSECT! The passive parts of your passive/aggressive posts are usually the better parts. Enjoy The Show! I love BGP!!!!!

AND(Absolutely No Defense). That, and the opportunity for SK fan to find fault in a running clock victory. Dang!
-
I'd like to hope so, but not so sure. SK has accumulated a whole lot of players who can play. They can rotate ten without missing a beat. They fed the post consistently and they made some threes. Scott needs to at least "think" about playing some defense. It was Ole' Madi, Ole' Ally, as they just waved the cape and let them on by! Conversely, 5 of Clephane's 8 buckets were "and ones" and there weren't a lot clean looks to be had for Scott. Disappointing effort from Scott.

Look out! Lots of athleticism. Murray is super solid and this is a little surprising.

Manual 68 Sacred Heart 53

Got to see half of this game. Great effort from Manual. They had too much size and athleticism for SH. I was surprised by how solid they are. If you have never seen Ty Howard play, I suggest you should! Incredible effort and heart packed in a "maybe" 5' body. Based on this showing would not be surprised to see them compete come State tourney time. -
10th Region POY Candidates

Of course we all consider you the renaissance guy of BGP. But, you will have to save your Schwarber argument for another year, as this is a senior only award. BTW, I like watching both her and Clos play. Hardnosed. -

Geez, JA, would have thought you would have found the answer to your second question somewhere in the 77 post thread you started back in February of this year. As for the first question, you gotta think O'Mara is a prohibitive favorite, right? http://bluegrasspreps.com/ky-girls-basketball/10th-region-player-322557.html -

Great to see Holly "Killing it" in Hanover! Great young lady and great athlete! To make you posters wiser, fyi, the future 48th Vice President of the United States, Mike Pence, is a Hanover alum. Impress your family/friends at Christmas parties with this trivia. -

Showcase at Dixie Saturday 12/3
carpediem replied to denniscarguy's topic in KY Girls Basketball (High School)
I agree they did a great job of bringing in incredible teams from Chicago, IN, and TN and managed the time well. Couple of local teams(HC?) had their chance to expose their players to big time coaches, but chose not to. Left Dixie to play a pair of games and they did really well! -

For SG to dress five is impressive. I believe they only have about 16 girls spread out across four grades in the entire school. To me this a great story. -

I will predict MC to have a 7-3 record vs. their NKY competition. Should be lots of quality games for this senior laden team. -

I think that parents want to believe that their kids are going to get a fair, non-politicized opportunity to get that "best" shot. On the other hand, the player may actually be very cool with playing with a bunch of other players in a great team environment where the game is the thing, and not always who's watching who. Either way, now it's "on to school season", where the fun factor is usually high and the parental cost factor goes way down(give me a Little Charlies fund raiser any day over a month of Hotel Rooms and TGIF's in the deep south)...anybody want a pizza kit? -
Geez, what do they put in that lake water??? Lots of athletic ladies for a school of less than 500 total. Can only speak to Burpo/Turley/Mayes, but I know they are the real deal. Good Luck!!!

Feldkamp was absolutely KILLING IT this summer....Great young lady, great attitude, great future!

It's really tough to say. We had a Major D1 coach tell us this week at his camp that we needed to get out and market our recruit better. Said she wasn't as "known" as she should be. He said "send me some tape". I was thinking, our tape isn't so great. Soooo, it depends on what your recruit and what you are looking for. Evaluating the payback on a quality tape is tough to judge before you spend the money to make the tape. In my mind, there is no substitute for quality AAU exposure. Setting up coaches to see your recruit play is critical. Also, if you have a respected trainer and/or coach who advocates for you, that is pure gold.
