SW is not well coached. Did you happen to watch any games last year? That coach is building himself a reputation like he had at Pike Central where the parents offered to help him move his stuff when he left.

If Whitley plays Bell close then Bell needs to move way down in the poll.

Agreed. South Warren has a really weak schedule. Should have added Clinton County to that powerhouse group.

Samsel is a NAIA, D3 player, maybe D2 at best. Duvall is a BCS kid.

Not one college coach that I know of looks at this list. I have never had any college say to me she is rated # whatever by Rick Bolus. If you are banking on something by being rated by Bolus to help you then you are in for a rude awakening.

When will Wayne move up to 4A?

Indiana picks their team and invites the players that are picked. If I am not mistaken its picked by one person who can clearly evaluate talent. Its like NBA scouts(Indiana) vs pee wee league coaches(Kentucky). The results show this. Put a couple of people who are either ex college coaches or someone who sees the kids play in the summer vs top talent in America and let them pick the team. Only then are you gonna get it right, and until you do this, the results will be the same. There is your model.

Who coaches this team and who is on the roster?

Indiana will beat this team like a drum. The Lions Club better get someone who knows basketball to help pick these teams. Politics has destroyed these teams. Anytime D1 kids gets left off for NAIA kids then the process is flawed. The coaches who picked this team need to be fired. The Junior All Star list is flawed also. There is alot of people who dont know basketball in charge of this process and its making the state of Kentucky look bad.

4/5 losses came to Wayne County for SW. I kept telling Lincoln supporters that SW was a match up nightmare for them and was scoffed at. If not for the Wayne losses look at what the record would have been for SW. Lincoln wanted no part of Wayne this year. Wayne beat them 11 early on and would have been a 20 pt game this time around after watching Lincoln/SW play in regional.

SW was a match up problem for Lincoln. SW guards did a nice job on Taylor and he didnt control the game. Thought there were some tough calls both ways in this game also.

Unfortunate yes, but I was sitting right on the play and the refs got it right. Both players were going hard for the ball and arms elbows etc were flying to try to get the ball. Its was just when the punch was thrown that got him ejected. Funny the SW parents and students were publically cheering for Boyle. I think the Wayne fans got a kick out of that.....

I dont know who keeps those stats but I never saw 11 assists that game. Anyone was at that game saw what happened and anyone who knows Woods knows he has never had anyone in his life in a headlock. The above poster nailed it^^. You need to take your belt off and straighten him out or you are gonna be singing "what could have been".

It would not be the first time they have beat them 8+. I am not saying that Wayne will beat them 8+, cause I dont think they are gonna get to Wayne. They have a tougher first round game than I think they realize( I full well know the previous scores) and SW is a matchup nightmare for them. Taylor struggles with being closely guarded and SW has a PG that is quicker than Taylor and a pretty good defender. Taylor struggled against Perkins at Wayne and got so frustrated he got is infamous 2 game suspension for the cheap shot on Woods, so his pressure meter is not very high and most coaches in region know it. Look for it to be tested. :thumb:

I think everyone wants to see Lincoln get SW right out of gate.

Im not a Montgomery fan but Ive seen both several times and its a no contest. Wayne County. 10+.

In regards to the match up with SW, Lincoln does not have enough brawn down low to deal with SW bigs and do not shoot it well enough to make it into a three point contest. Taylor is not as quick as SW PG, so the SW PG will control the transition game and cause the mis matches that Lincoln cannot defend. SW also gets back well as to take away the transition break that Jeff loves. Get it into a half court game on the offensive side for Lincoln against SW and I like SW. Like the above poster said, Wayne has to many scoring options so the match up stuff favors any team that has that many scoring options. Wayne is gonna be scary good by February. Better get them soon. Dark horse team that could pull some upsets later in year is Casey. Boyle, Lincoln and Mercer are schools that have under achieved the past few years with the talent they have had. I see nothing changing.

Wayne and West Jessamine. I think they are tied with Boyle Co. Not sure they can match up with SW either. Maybe be a better team, but match ups sometime trump.

Lincoln has a great coach. Taylor is a good PG. They may be better than Boyle now that I think about it, so make them 3/4.......
