SHS Future
Great game! It is hard for any team to beat a good team 4 times in one season but Wayne was able to beat Southwestern for the 4th time last night. SW finished the season 25-5.
Archie Bunker
4/5 losses came to Wayne County for SW. I kept telling Lincoln supporters that SW was a match up nightmare for them and was scoffed at. If not for the Wayne losses look at what the record would have been for SW. Lincoln wanted no part of Wayne this year. Wayne beat them 11 early on and would have been a 20 pt game this time around after watching Lincoln/SW play in regional.
gchs_uk9
Southwestern actually lost six times, guys. Four losses to Wayne, once to West Jessamine, and once to Louisville Doss.
Ole Kentuckian
And think - Wayne loses one senior (Perkins) and returns 2 juniors, 3 sophomores and some younger talent. Lincoln loses no one. They started four juniors. Southwestern loses one senior (Edwards), but their #4 & 5 slots were young and will improve considerably. Boyle loses one senior (Ray) and look to improve considerably also. And I'm not even touching the others in the region. The 12th will roar in 2014-15. Each team needs to play more out-of-region games so as to inflict losses on our opponents rather than each other  NOTE: Classes mentioned above reflect the class each player is in this year, not next. I checked KHSAA, Southwestern finished the season 25-6. The paper has it wrong.
