Newcath lost a lot of talented players last year McDonald, Pangallo, Moeves and Freppon, that's about 70% of thier scoring maybe more. Holy Cross kids have been playing since they were freshmen and have a lot of experience. Newcath return Weyer and Anderson with experience. Weyer was a beast last night the kid was getting hammered almost everytime he touch the ball down low. Moeves shot the ball great last night if they can get some other kids to score this team is dangerous come district and Regional time. IMO there will be a rematch in the ALL A finals and will see which team gets better and which team stays the same. Congrats to Holy Cross on the win and for Newcath keep on getting better

I agree with you but I never said not play a bench you should play a bench. What I'm saying is there is nothing wrong running your offense around Weyer he is a smart enough player if he gets double or triple team he will find the open player. The past 3 years NewCath was very talented but sometimes you have to let the best players take over the game. But you are right you have to play more guys but you also have to adjust to the game if a kid is dominating a game give him the ball until they can stop it. JMO

This team will go as far as Weyer. He would get the ball everytime down the court if I was coaching.

After his game against Dayton last night he might be.

Blowout. This team will go as far as Mr. Weyer goes. Without him they are a avg team with him they are a top 3 team in region. Weyer is going to have a fantastic season.

Great Post. There was a kid that was ranked 42 in his class last year and he went to D2 on a full ride where about 20 kids who were in front of him went to D3 or NAIA not saying that is Bad just saying just because a kid is not rank higher then kids doesn't mean they ain't that good.

Ncc will be good again as long as the offense revolves around Mr. Weyer he is going to be a beast this year not only is he the best player in region IMO. He is going to be top 5 player in the state and a candidate for Mr.Basketball. He will be the leader of a fairly young team and will make those kids get better as the season goes on. Good Luck to the Breds this year. Win the ALL A State 4 yrs in a row and play your butts of in the District and Regional.

I go with player B. Since he got his team to the finals in region. Not a cap on player A cause they both look like thier teams record isn't all that great but player B just went further in region.

I will add in Pangallo at Ncc being one of the best SS in NKY.

The past 3 years Newcath has put a beat down on every teams in the 9th region except for Covcath and Holmes. Covcath and Holmes were pretty damn good teams. Weyer, McDonald and Pangallo record in those three years was 90 and 11 and 3 Time All A State Champions pretty impressive for a small school like Newcath

He is currently at Newcath shadowing Ben Weyer.

Ben Weyer will be the best player in the region. I think he will be top five in the state also. Playing in the EYBL will boost his game to the next level.
