While at the KOB this year I was told the coach from Ensworth, TN was the Head Football, Basketball and Baseball coach. Someone on here may know about that but that is what i was told.

Curious how this works out. There is definitely something wrong with the system.

If it is a legitimate change of address the KHSAA will rule in favor of the athlete. The problems with all of these rules are you have people out there trying to circumvent the rules and that leads to issues.

Heck who does want to face Collins in the opening round? I would say that is for Anderson, Shelby or Spencer or any team in the 8th region.

Am i missing something? Pressure on Spencer? I know it is a district game and all of those are big and pressure packed for all teams.

I think patience is the key word here they have to hire a super don't think a quality coach would take this without knowing the super. I fear they will stay within the district on this super hire and if they do that will make fixing this program nearly impossible.

With all the talk about football numbers coming out it seems to have gotten lost a little that BOC voted to move Woodford into the 8th Region and they will compete in the 30th district with Anderson, Collins, Shelby and Spencer.

Great write up but I will say Collins is in my views the best team in the region. Not a shot at your rankings OC and WV are probably 2/3 in my book but when Collins is clicking they are really good.

My understanding was if 1A teams drop out they will not back fill class A with 2A teams. Also if they are out I believe they are out for 4 years. Can't sit out and then come back in two years.

This job is going to be a chore for someone to fix. Really in a bad shape, the school split has really killed the athletic programs.

Forte in the first half was causing issues for SC, he was a match up problem. Kidwell did what he was asked to do, made his open shots and set some screens. Collins was shooting inside 10 feet all night and just looked really poised. Very few turnovers for Collins and they made their free throws, really clean game for the Titans was really impressed with their team. Nothing for the Bears to hang their head about they need to go back to work, tough game at OC on Tuesday and then they will have a nice little break to rest up for the stretch run.

Well I don't think they are reckless, I will also add that there are other factors at play inside Jefferson County that are getting to these kids and are having influences on them. I want to also clarify I am not talking about coaches at schools either.

Don't know where it would put X. I do feel very confident in saying that Chuck is the best high school coach. I know Boyle has talent but no team is more prepared or gets more out of his team. Once he gets his system and his culture in place look out!

I don't think you can say there is no doubt. Trinity, Cooper, Covington Catholic, LCA (when healthy) all could make a case that they can be on the same level with Fern Creek. I also want say not saying Fern Creek is not, but those 4 teams that were in the KOB are legit. The great thing is we will settle it on the floor.

Didn't think Mercer looked good in warm ups. Seemed very lackadaisical didn't play with an edge. That was my first time seeing them so I don't want to make an total judgement anxious to see them today.

Well I would agree with you on some aspects. The Louisville team has 5 practices for about 2 hours, there are players who miss for various reasons. The state team reports today and has their kids on lock down to practice and meet over the next 3 days but I am sure has all their players for every practice. Both scenarios present challenges.

You are correct there is a process, however in most instances the referees do not ask for the film review. If they do not there is no recourse.

There has to be a procedure in place when a player is ejected and video evidence clearly shows that the ejection should not have been made. Referees do have the ability to check the ejection form and tell the KHSAA that they would like it reviewed. I believe this gives the KHSAA some freedom to right a wrong.
