  1. Does anyone know the updated roster for the Magic?
  2. That was against a loaded team UA Grind. Bronson Kessinger (Corydon Central, junior all star), Derrick Smits (Zionsville, Clemson offer, Rick Smits Son), KJ Walton (Brownsburg, core junior all star).
  3. The issue for Trinity is the different coaching philosophy between AAU & School Ball. Trinity is a defense first team. Very few offensive sets and doesn't allow kids to do what they do best on offense. Levitch, Spaulding, & Stafford are allowed to showcase themselves offensively in AAU ball while still performing on the defensive end. Plus Levitch is playing out of position (forward) @ Trinity. Their new transfer is overrated and will not fit into Trinity's system.
  4. AAU ball back in full swing today.... The Ville are playing in a Super Pool at the Adidas Invitational (All games at the main site with the biggest college coaches). Guaranteed entry into the Platinum bracket. http://usayouthhoops.com/12165/adidas-invitational-ncaa-certified
  5. You can find results and schedules here: http://usayouthhoops.com/12165/adidas-invitational-ncaa-certified . The Bulldogs are in pool Y
  6. A couple of those guys should find a home with either KY Retros or Next Level as they played with them in the past. The Adidas Invitational schedule still note the Louisville Magic (17U) in pool X for the upcoming tournament this week.
  7. I believe I saw on Hoop Dreams thread that Aric Holman will be playing with them.
  8. I think the coach from the respective region choose the players. Mainly looking at the 7th region picks with Eastern coach who thinks he have 2 of the best Jrs in the 7th region.
  9. Not sure how guys are chosen... Some of the 5th region guys were questionable at best. 1 of the 6th region guys was horrors well.. It was a well played game tile the 4th qtr when defense took a break. The Gray plays some point guard (more of a scorer). He does have a coachable issue if he wants to make I to the next level.
  10. Is there any footage from the past/current AAU season?
  11. Video of game with the Ville at state....
  12. Butler High School has something going on this weekend. I know Jtown, Eastern, PRP, Butler are playing in. Looking at the Derek Smith Shootout schedule, Doss, Manual, or Waggner should win it all...
  13. Can the guys already enrolled in school (college) play?
  14. Should know of some players when they practice Monday (at least the 6th region players).
  15. If that is the case since they are playing on same AAU team as a combo, they should have won AAU State to prove the point.. Not putting any kid down but there is a lot of good kids at those positions. Each has there good & bad. My opinion is ranking kids put pressure on kids to hold up to what people think which cause them to make decisions that might not be there best interest when choosing where to play at the next level... The 2015 class is loaded, there are guys with great potential and the are guys who are truly gifted.. I don't think those guys separated themselves from the others. If they play the 6th,7th, 9th, and whatever the Lexington region and dominant night in/out they would earn that respect.
  16. Yes.... Not sure when/how that decision was made.
  17. There was someone added to last night game.. Not sure if they added anyone for tonights game..
  18. Also just to add...... A lot of D1 players transfer down to other levels.
  19. Can't base anything off the JR All Star tryout... Team was already selected (nobody really want to believe that). 1 or 2 guys played their way on the team but real team players are missing from that team.
  20. If he is already playing with Central, he must already be enrolled with Central. Otherwise Central could get into some trouble.
  21. The thing with Trinity is they focus so much on defense the kids offense suffers... They have a lot of offense weapons but if the kid is not focused on defense first, he won't get time on the floor.. Outside of Spaulding, Levitch & Stafford are their best offensive weapons against great teams.
  22. This is just AAU basketball.. You have to find what makes you happy... The cost to play with TheVille2015 & Travelers are the same (which is really only hotel cost for parents).. He is doing what makes him Happy, get to work out with a former UofL big man to refine his game. Plus TheVille2015 relies on scoring from all positions (very good team play) plus the level of competition is really no different than EYBL (people would be surprised).. Being happy playing basketball at the high school level is important as it drives his desire at the next level. Spaulding has a great future in front of him no matter where he plays.
  23. People change teams all the time.. Spaulding played with TheVille for a couple of years back in the past. Nobody saying anything with the kids that moved on from the magic... The kid was not happy, so now he is playing with a bunch of friends of his.. Basketball at this age is about having fun, if you really know the kids, that is what is happening for Spaulding..
