  1. Vito ran two (back to back) 4.7 40s. It allowed him to land on the "honorable mention" list, as a sophomore. The president of the games said that it has validified Tisdale as being a "National Recruit." Vito is currently rated the 109th best prospect in America (all classes).
  2. I am saying Tisdale will be a higher recruit than Caruthers. He already is as a sophomore.
  3. Not sure what your asking. Yes, our running back from a couple of seasons ago, Jamale Carothers, is all-time leading scorer at BGHS. Little Vito will play wherever Coach Wallace puts him in high school but will be recruited in college for defensive cornerback and return specialist. He will be Purples top recruit unless injury comes his way.
  4. BGHS sophomore, Vito Tisdale apparently turned a few heads. Honorable Mention at combine as a sophomore was great achievement. 2 back to back 4.7 40 yard dash. 6'1 195. Rated 4star as a sophomore. Again, he should be,m Purples highest recruit.
  5. Some posters might not like this statement but I do feel that it's true. With the loss of Jackson Adams the Greenwood Gators are really going to struggle the next couple of years. I'm sure their JV and freshman teams have done a decent job, but trying to replace a kid that literally accounted for about every statistical offensive achievement will be tough.
  6. He (Harmon) will probably leave Bluegrass after this season but he is probably best our state has seen. I know some (many) disagree but how many #1 national rated players have we seen? Gold medalist? More than 1,000 points as freshman in varsity? State champ as star 8th grader? I could go on. 43 in game 1 as a frosh. Dude...
  7. One tough loss for the Purples. South certainly was better ball club tonight. Not sure I've seen BG play worse than they did tonight. South deserved the win. Will be a long off season for BG. Win with class and lose with class. Every team at some point has a game that will simply be a collosal meltdown. This one for BG was tonight. Hats off to Spartans and wish you well next week. Winner of game next week will be state champs. Ouch.
  8. Funny. The joy of voice text. Never voice text and drive down the road at same time. My apologies. Halleluia!
  9. Hope you alright dragon fire. I think it is fair to say that South will not turn the ball over 5 times tonight. I also think it is safe to say that Bowling Green it's not surprised to see South Warren again tonight. I think all the Bowling Green coaching staff knew that South was going to be Christian County. Coach Spader and his defensive staff will be prepared tonight to slow down the win kid. Bo Buchanan for Bowling Green has been absolutely remarkable. If they were to win the game tonight the Bowling Green quarterback statistically speaking will be better than Devin Hayes and Clark pain in their junior year campaigns. No one before the season begin would have ever imagined that. Buchanan will not throw as many touchdowns as Jesus did his junior year but throwing zero interceptions with nearly 2500 yards after tonight it's pretty impressive. I think if Bo Buchanan has an above-average game regardless of how the teams play Bowling Green wins. Really looking forward to tonight. I agree the crowd will be down somewhat but the excitement and atmosphere will be very high.
  10. Great post. All true. He is an advocate for his players to get college looks. He really has done well at getting kids to next level. I'm mainly talking about the kids that end up at the smaller schools. Big schools will always find the star players but the "good" players have to find the small schools. Coach Wallace helps make that happen. My guess (strictly a guess) is he steps down with the class of 2020.
  11. Coach Wallace will be going for win number 300 this Friday night against South Warren. Wallace is also 254-40 at Bowling Green. He has some nice jewelry to go along with those wins. I think he can get a few more rings before he hangs it up. Great job, Coach. You are one of the best. Youve had a lot of talent but you also have assembled a great coaching staff. Hoping you get #300 this Friday night!
  12. This will be one of BGs biggest gut checks in quite a while. They have to balance their emotions. Just as they can't focus on how they handled the Spartans they also can't focus on injuries. Everyone this time of year have their bumps and bruises. BG will be without 2 more starters since last time they played South Warren. Hoping that the injuries last night doesn't carry over on Friday night. Coach Wallace and Spader will have them ready. I expect the game will have an electric atmosphere. Get to ticket booth before 630pm or you will be waiting in line to get in. South will be inspired, rightfully so, by beating Christian County. Not being a hater but Christian just seemed to be the most flat undefeated team I have seen for a while. I would still think that South will struggle with our overall team speed. Purples will try to hone in on Winn and pressure Spurier. South will try to keep Purples off the field by controlling the clock. Should be a good one Purples 47 Spartans 20
  13. First, Congrats to Jackson Adams at Greenwood for an incredible 4 years. Greenwood played great. Purples, not so much. Purples will be in a dog fight next week. I think they will be ready but they are literally a M.A.S.H. unit right now. No excuses though. It will be interesting 72 hours to hear injury reports. A win is a win.
  14. Purples playing very poorly. Gators long drives keeping purples off field
  15. Highland faithful can say what they want but at the end of the day I feel they know that their coach is the wrong coach. Its just a matter of time.
  16. #2 started then they moved him to fullback. #16 then filled in at QB. The occasional Wildcat formation can gain some yards but in round 1 of playoffs (win or go home) it was like they were still experimenting with QB position. Head scratcher for me to understand.
  17. Don't be surprised if South Warren beats undefeated Christian County.
  18. As a Purples fan I am VERY glad to see Greenwood beat Apollo in Week 1 of playoffs. Rather than, "win one for the Gipper" they "won one for Jackson Adams." I think the road will end Friday night for Greenwood but all of Purples Nation has rooted for Adams. He has been a phenomenal high school football player. His stats will speak for themselves! Speaking of phenomenal, BGHS QB, Beau BuCANNON, is on fire! He has played absolutely lights out this season. If anyone before the season had said that as a first year starter his numbers would be better than former BGHS QB's Devin Hayes and Clark Payne's junior years, no one would have believed them. Beau has stepped up perhaps more than any other player in recent memory for the Purples. This week for the Purples they need to mend some aches and pains and get in and out of Greenwood matchup as quickly and as clean as possible. Purples 54 Gators 14
  19. From an outsiders point of view, they need need to: Double the amount of players No player plays on both sides of ball Utilize their athletes in open field Get much more detailed offense! To me, it looked like they only ran 5 or 6 different plays. After 1st quarter, any opponent with good defensive coordinator has them figured out. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to try to get the Owsley kid in open field. Notice BG would not kick to Owsley (they did kick it to him 1 time when game was out of reach). Why would Devils even remotely get close to kicking it to someone that will take kickoff to the house? Again, easy to coach from the stands but to me, lots of work/changes needs to come to Devils, IMO
