Welp. That happened.

Again.

Congrats Purps

Congrats to BG. You guys down there have a great program. My hats off to you guys on what youve done.

I think it's time for the series to end because OHS simply cant compete with the Purps. I think coach Fallin is in over his head and a change is probably needed. OHS needs an up tempo wide open offense. Either Fallin should resign or get another offensive coordinatior before OHS starts losing kids to other schools because its coming soon.

BGHS QB, Beau BuCANNON, does it again. Near flawless performance. Not sure of his yardage yet but would have to be in mid-three hundred range WITH 5 TD's and ZERO INT's. This gives Beau 24 TDs with ZERO INTs through 11 games. Nearing 64% completion. Unreal for first year starter.

Vito Tisdale had great all around game. Broke up passes on his side of field. Kickoff return for TD (again) with additional rushing TD. Had a crazy hard (legal) hit on a kid. He is ruthless.

Purples are peaking!

Not sure about Red Devil play calling.

Also, I have an honest question. I know Red Devils may not be as stacked as they used to but I only counted 41 players. I counted 40 cheerleaders (I kid you not). Are you telling me there are only 41 male football athletes walking the hallways of that school? They are a 5A school with 3A numbers. Not good.

Not trying to put their team down. I'm just sniffing that something is not right.

Great game Purples. Keep clicking on all cylinders.

I know there are kids that are in the hallway that should be playing but for some reason there not but it seems like it is like that every year i just know the system is not working and there needs to be a change

According to Bowling Green Daily News, BuCANNON went 15-17 for 280 yards, 5 TDs, 0 INTs

He is special. Getting better every game

According to Coach Wallace, Beau was 16-19 for 309, 5 TDs, 0 INTs.

Kid is on fire!

Gosh I hate to say it, but ohs is not good, apollo isn't very good, Davies co isn't very good and Owensboro cath isn't very good. I know they all "took care of business" but really what does that mean. I was hoping for ohs to rise up, but they are way behind even what I thought, apollo is beat up and has little talent, Oc beat Webster who couldn't beat my kids 9-10 year old team. D.C. Actually beat a decent team and may be best team in city. But I don't think that means much. D.C. Maybe will play ok next game. Oc will prolly beat Mury but they only bet McLean by 20. My point is these teams aren't good And once dc and oc play a decent team they will get beat easy.

Owensboro football needs a change. BG is leaving us behind.

Purples play well in all 3 phases. Seem to be getting better each week.

For Owensboro, I see talented players on the field and Imonte Owsley is one of the best in the West. However, several plays and tactics make me scratch my head. Owensboros first series, 3 run plays yield 8 yards and you are at midfield. In punt formation BG has no linebackers; Owensboro punts. I see no aggressive play calling.

Owsley who IMO must touch the ball a lot touches the ball approximately 3 or 4 times through mid-3rd quarter. Then down 41-7 he touches the ball 4 or 5 straight times and he runs it in. Coincidence? You tell me...

What specifically does OHS need to change?

What specifically does OHS need to change?

From an outsiders point of view, they need need to:

Double the amount of players

No player plays on both sides of ball

Utilize their athletes in open field

Get much more detailed offense!

To me, it looked like they only ran 5 or 6 different plays. After 1st quarter, any opponent with good defensive coordinator has them figured out.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to try to get the Owsley kid in open field.

Notice BG would not kick to Owsley (they did kick it to him 1 time when game was out of reach). Why would Devils even remotely get close to kicking it to someone that will take kickoff to the house?

Again, easy to coach from the stands but to me, lots of work/changes needs to come to Devils, IMO

Agree with purple nation. They have to open it up, throw it around 20 times a game.

Until OHS shows that they are willing and more importantly able to throw the ball past the sticks they will never be a threat once the playoffs begin.

Which QB started against BG?
