No. They will not beat either North Oldham or North Hardin.

Line play decided last week's game. John won in the trenches. That being said, North Hardin gained a lot of yards but JH's defense held deep in their own territory. If North Hardin does not commit turnovers I don't see Caldwell beating them.

North is more athletic than Caldwell despite the previous comments above. I think North wins a close one.

If JH doesn't turn the ball over and commit stupid penalties they should win. If they turn the ball over I can see WC taking this one.

North Oldham is a real darkhorse in 4a and no one talks about them. They are always very good and I think they'll win this one rather easily.

Have to go with North Hardin in this one. JH has too many issues right now and North will score a lot of points.

Get John Hardin out of the top 10. No discipline, no heart, and no pride. I could go on but I won't.

Congrats to Boyle County. I thought Central Hardin would impose their will and win this game. Boyle must have one heck of a team and 3A is going to be fun to watch.

Congrats to South Warren. They are clearly a better team than John Hardin and it's not even close. Interesting side note. I was surprised at how much trouble JH was having with the bad snap on the punt and issues in XPs and I read today that Coach Lewis suspended 7 players for the first quarter for being late to practice Friday. This included their starting center, starting RB, place kicker/punter, and several defensive starters. This is a sign of a mentally weak and undisciplined team. I have no idea what is wrong with these kids and it's obvious their heads are not in the game. I hope this embarrassment knocked some sense in to them.

Those two JH teams were special, especially the 2011 team. Unfortunately, they are only remembered for getting blown out by Bowling Green. Both of the Boyle County games, they didn't run particularly well compared to most of the other games on their schedule those two years. They were efficient, but not dominant. In 2011 I believe they had two passing TDs and two running TDs. In 2012 they had two passing TDs, an interception return for a TD and two rushing TDs. Anyway, as dominant as those two JH teams were, Boyle was a solid group that played good, disciplined team defense. I just believe this is CH's most talented group of kids they have ever had and if the QB can make some throws they will be hard to beat.

I'm honestly not sure. I think he just started practicing this week. Didn't participate in the scrimmage.

The Witherspoon suspension will hurt this team but they will improve every game and be in the running at the end of the year. I'm excited to see the 6'7" 315 pound transfer when he starts playing. I've heard he will be on the D Line.

They run the Wing T. They may have run some spread in the Meade game because they fell behind early.

Great insight Harry and it puts things in perspective last night. Coach Lewis did say they actually have a lot of depth at the offensive and defensive lines so I'm sure he is finalizing the depth chart. Next week's game should be very interesting

About what I expected. Typical inconsistent and young team. I have heard that Daviess County is supposed to be pretty good this year, but they should not be within 7 points of JH. As far as the DBs are concerned, this is where the Witherspoon suspension hurts the Bulldogs. He is around 6'3" and would be a great safety back there. If John Hardin can keep next week's game competitive, than that will bode well down the road. I will still be surprised if SW beats them handily, but who knows.
