They’ve tried scheduling area teams outside of BG. They either are being told no or are not getting phone calls returned.

I’d like to see them hire someone with some HC experience at the HS Level. Hopefully we get a few of those applicants.

I think the Bowling Green/South Warren game this year will garner a massive crowd. Unfortunately won't be able to make it, but probably will be one of the biggest crowds a Warren County/Bowling Green school has had at a football game.

Glad we got a detailed breakdown of BGHS Basketball on the Warren Central Thread. WC added Kobe Brents, Jr. from Glasgow and Dre Boyd, Jr. from Adair Co. to their roster this coming season. Two big additions that should help ease the blow of losing that great Senior class.

So is the de facto reason always academics?

Keep improving numbers in the program is the main key. They return several players who played a lot as Jr. and Soph. IMO they showed their improvement with a good start at Logan Co in their playoff loss, but their lack of depth caught up with them. I think they can win a couple games this season which would be great for the program to show steps of improvement.

Warren Central took 4-5 student fan buses on Wednesday and Friday. All absences were excused if they had their game ticket. Same for teachers. A lot of people have said not allowing red books have hurt, but that I can’t speak on.

Need to hire a new director of marketing.

$5 for a water. A friend of mine said t-shirts were $40 range (sounds off to me, but he asked the person working). If you want your casual fan to come, need to offer some kind of package deal for tickets, or offer some type of entertainment in the Lex Center in between sessions.

I'm a little surprised Warren Central is still on here. I would put Larue at 17, move Campbell out, and place Warren Central at 20.
