They’ve been that bad for 5+ years!

The crew that called this game has been in the region for 5+ years.

I remember several years ago WC was down to Ballard 15-1 (if I remember right) at State. Hopefully this team can respond just as well the next three quarters as that one did.

It’s definitely a factor in a loss if one of the best players in the state did not play most of the second half and was not near 100% when he did play.

Look at the travel of 6A District 1 and the cost of traveling from Henderson to Paducah. 1A I’m traveling from Russellville to Fulton. It’s clearly a problem of having too many classes. Not only is it diluting the competition but forcing athletic departments into tougher financial situations.

Too many classes IMO.

Let’s revisit this come end of Feb, beginning of March.

Maybe when they travel to Lex they should ask UK to suit up so they can finally face a REAL test.

Not a SW fan in the slightest. Just funny to me seeing so much overconfidence. BG running clocked SW mid-season and they lost to that same SW team tonight. Anything can happen, that’s what makes this time of year so fun for the casual fan.

Well why make the trip to BG or Lex for that matter? Just send the trophy to Covington. Sheesh.

You forgot the 3 overtime Game excuse that gets brought up with the Wes Jones argument. Paintsville has some good teams in the late 80s that lost to Ballard. Russellville has some nice teams in early 2000s.

BG SW will be a war!

:deadhorse: Not sure why a thread was even started on this game. WC has certainly showed improvement this season, battling three of their four opponents pretty tough late into the game. Hopefully moral can stay high throughout the season and everyone stay healthy. The next two years should show some hope for WC.

Monroe returned opening KO for TD but Central has fronded some drives out, one resulting in a TD. Central First TD was int returned about 20 yards. Cold and rainy. Beats work!

Why are they playing Portland? Portland has been bad for probably around a decade if not longer.

When you see 100+ kids walk off the bus when your playing T or X, it's a little intimidating.
