From the sounds of it, I don't know how much of a resignation it is. But good luck to him.

I know he's a "Fairdale guy". But does that make it a good hire? The program has been on the decline. Why stay in house? I understand all the other factors. Tradition, community school, etc. But sometimes you need an outside perspective if you really want change.

Anyone heard rumors out of my other favorite program, Bullitt East?

Theoretically, you can "argue" for any region. The 6th was probably the most balanced, but the 7th has to be the toughest.

I predict that I will be at this game and enjoy it. Regardless of the outcome. I love the way Trinity plays.

Their front line is still pretty big and athletic. Add their senior PG and the knock down shooter, I think they'll be ok.

Yeah. That's where people are getting confused. He didn't hang. He pulled up and smacked board for style points. For anyone that actually saw it, it's pretty clear cut.

It was warranted. He dunked. Pulled himself up on the rim, then slapped the backboard with 2 hands. It was a great play that didn't require any added antics. Then he cursed at an official on a play when they would've had the ball. Do the crime, do the time. I hope he learns from this. He really is a great player.

I'll always take Collins.

I still think Taylor Co is a year away. I know they beat Etown earlier in the season, but it's a different season now. Etown is better coached and has more experience in bigger games.

I'm biased. But I'll take a proven senior PG in Kidwell. Collins doesn't really blow people out though.

Trinity has a better coach, and they play much better D. Those things seems to matter when it's "win or go home" time.

Could we see another Bullitt East/PRP game? Those are always a treat to watch.

I see Ballard/Trinity championship shaping up. I think Trinity gets them this time.

True. Neighborhood battles. Records usually go out the window. Great win for Shelby Co.

Shocker. Collins took them too lightly.

Debates about stats are always funny. Most of them are bloated. Especially when it comes to rebounding and FG%. Over half the schools, and generally the better ones, don't report stats.

I've only seen Taylor Co once this year. Goodin is very impressive, but they just aren't a very good team. They've played a really weak schedule. If they were in the 8th, 6th or 7th, they'd be middle of the pack at best.

Brent Kidwell might be the most under rated PG in the state. He's going to make a college coach look really smart for taking a chance on him.
