Just curious what everyones opinion is on the tournament? Will Brossart win it or will CC or another team down south get it?

I agree with Baller. CC goalie played a really good game. It could of been 2,3,4 to 0 in regulation but she made some great stops! I think Brossart controlled the game but that doesnt matter in soccer. You can shoot 20 times and dont score and the other teams shoots twice and wins 1 to 0. So I agree, CC goalie played great and she deserved to be on the district team! IMO these two teams will play again in the regional tournament and Im sure it'll be a good game again! Good luck to both teams in the tounament.

It was 7 to 0 in the first half. Brossart played there normal game and I dont feel they ran it up. They did move people around alot. Moving people from offense to defense and in positions they dont normally play. Its just hard to ask a kid to not play 100% when there on the field. Brossart beat them in the regular season 9 to 0 and they played everyone in that game in different positions also. There wasnt any complaints from the Calvary Christian parents or fans that were there but regardless if its 10 to 0 or a tie you never say anything negative about the other team..... IMO.

I do agree with you FFBK. If you beat another school then just talk about the game but dont rub it in. Cause there will come a day when things come full circle and your on that receiving end of a good old butt whoopin!!! People get so hung up on there schools and seem to forget about the kids. Were in the stands supporting our children but there the ones out there busting there rear ends to win the games and if they go and read that they just got "crushed" that isnt a goodthing. I think the kids know that there team might not be as good as other teams but to just say they got beatdown, or crushed isnt a good choose of comments! Its one thing for the kids to say things but when parents come on here and talk smack about the school there kids go to and say stupid things is joke! Just remember, its the kids that is doing all the work and competing on the field not the parents. Win, lose or draw think before you speak cause its not about a parents ego its about the kids your in the stands watching.

I agree totally with BlueKrush! All you have to do is go through this sight and read everyones articles, I dont believe theres anyone on here coming on and saying.... Our team is horrible and we got killed!!! This is a sight for peoples thoughts and opinions and comments and everyone is entitled to speak there mind but i dont believe anyone is gonna come on here and brag about there losses???? :sssh:

The first goal ND scored was a close call. I was on that end of the field and seen the whole play. If it wasnt offsides it was very close! But your right, you play till you hear a whistle. Brossart was playing without one of there top players and had a couple other ones banged up but I dont know if that wouldve changed the outcome? ND has a very good team and they play 110% from start to finish. It was a hard fought defensive game and both teams played a great game. Both should do very well in the regionals.

I agree 100%! This Brossart team has a ton of talent and can go along way this year. They just need to learn to finish better and they've got plenty of talent to do it! NCC is a good team but there not better than Brossart this year.

Can Brossart hang with Notre dame?

I agree with kings 102876... Notre Dame and St. Henry will be tough outs but when its comes to the region they will probably have to play eachother and one will be gone. In the 10th region Brossart should win it, there is Campbell Co also. If I had to pick a sleeper... Watch out for Dixie. They have a good team and just beat St. Henry.

Brossart defeated Dixie last night 1 to 0 in a great game! Brossart scored on a great shot from about 35 yds out. Good hard fought game by both teams.

When that game started Feldman said something about a call and that ref gave him the a nasty look. I think from the get go he had it out for him and for the technical, your right, he didnt say anything that bad that shouldve earned him a T. The officiating was horrible!!! If im not mistaking the 2nd half Brossart had 9 fouls to Mont. Co. 3 fouls???? I dont wanna take anything away from Montgomery Co, they played a great game and they earned the right to move on. Brossart's still a young team and hopefully they'll be back in it next year with all that talent.

Was at the game tonight, Montgomery just to much for Brossart. Montgomery has alot of speed and It showed and to many missed shots for Brossart. There still a young team and the future looks good for them though. Still a great season.

In the 10th the coach of the year is Feldman from Brosssart

I know NDA lost alot of talent but they always seem to reload year after year when you think they might be down. Out of couriousity how was NDA's JV team last year? Do they have alot of younger players coming up that are really good? In my opinion I think NDA, St. Henry, NCC and Brossart will be solid teams this year.

That is the only issue I see is the travel time for Montgomery Co but this is the regionals, if you cant get pumped up and ready to play no matter the situation then you dont need to be there. I think Montgomery Co wins by 6 to 10 points and goes on to win the region. Brossart is still a year away.

I do agree St. Henry will be tough. NDA lost some good talent but there always tough. NCC shouldnt be to bad but Brossart has alot of young talent with some seniors. They could be a team to watch out for.

ND will take care of Highlands with no problem. Looking ahead... Ryle should easily take care of Dixie. That ND and Ryle will be a great one!!! Any predictions???

There will always be excuses from the BGH!!! Every team goes through injuries during a long season but Camp Co lost the Berkley kid for the year who is a very good player. Imagine if they played Brosart with her? It might have been a double digit win??? When Brossart wins BGH is the first to post but when they lose he wont say much.... Im assuming he cant get out of the stables when they lose????

I do agree it will favor BBHS and Camp Co. with not having to travel. I would love to see one of the NKY teams get to represent our region at state but I just think Montgomery Co has a bit to much for Brossart. If were talking about this next year I'll take Brossart all day long. I think there a year away as long as they have the same team next year.

That will be a great match up but I think the experience and athleticability of Moss will be to much for Kiernan. I think Moss is just to quick for Nicole but thats where Ronnie Dawn steps in. He'll throw his best game plan at them to try to contain Moss. Should be a good one.

It will be a good game, I think the winner of this game will win the region but Brossart's strength is there speed and up-tempo style and Montgomery Co. can match them step for step. If Brossart cant press and fastbreak it could hurt them! Thats what there game is...

The NCC and Boone could be a very interesting game. I would favor Boone but never count out Ronnie Dawn and his team. After already playing them he will make some adjustments and be ready for Boone. Should be a great game!

Highlands has been hit hard by injuries this year but NCC has a good team with a really good coach. He always has NCC ready to play!
