Mustang Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Final From 37th District Championship Game CC: Sigegmundt - 17, Robinson 13, Martin 10 BB: Stadtmiller 10, Futscher (Foul Trouble) 9
Grooms Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Sounded like a slugfest. I still think the Lady Stangs are one of the top three teams in the region. I like their chances of advancing a round or two in the regional tournament. Especially with it being held at CCMS.
afi100guy Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Congrats to the Camels and Taylor Robinson. Back to Back District MVPs
memyselfandi Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Congrats to CCHS for never giving up in this game. I think they could surprise some people in region this year with a good draw!
bigblueinsanity Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Kinda surprised by this score, but Campbell Co has been a solid team all year!
Randy Parker Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Kinda surprised by this score, but Campbell Co has been a solid team all year! Ditto
WiseManFromTheMtn Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Would like to see a detailed summary of the game from the Big Green Horse like the one posted after the "Crosstown Shootout" game.
PRESSROW Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Congrats to Coach Mike Murray and his Lady Camels.
BlueKrush Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 The Camels are solid - congrats to them and they could surprise next week. As I've stated all season, BBHS is young and a year away. Not having a senior on the team is catching up with them this week. The 20+ win season seems hollow when in Districts you go 1-1, only winning by 2 over a team u should have beat by 20. IMHO, I agree with the post in the boys forum Re: BBHS Boys, and believe the girls should follow the same advice, that BBHS would be better prepared for post season by playing Boone Co, NDA, and Ryle and going 15-10 in the reg. season. They would still get enough easy wins due to conference scheduling, but be much more battle tested come tourney time.

Webster in the past has defined Credibility refers to the objective and subjective components of the believability of a source or message. Traditionally, modern, credibility has two key components: trustworthiness and expertise, which both have objective and subjective components. Trustworthiness is based more on subjective factors, but can include objective measurements such as established reliability. Expertise can be similarly subjectively perceived, but also includes relatively objective characteristics of the source or message (e.g., credentials, certification or information quality). Regardless of the name on here the author has used throughout the years he has lost all credibility when he/she makes statements that are not based in fact. Statements that attempt to belittle or tear down a team are not traits that one should be proud of. The bottom line is this...Bishop Brossart's girls basketball program has enjoyed a tremendous season in which their accomplishments continue to be a year ahead of schedule. The young team, with no seniors, has advanced above expectations with an equal chance win the 10th Region. A minor upset and bump last night (With three injured players and one very sick) does not diminish nor take away from the accomplishments of the season body of work. Apparently almost all the coaches agree by naming Coach Feldmann as “Coach of the Year” in both Northern Kentucky and the Tenth Region. So far this season, his young team has recorded a 25-7 record while playing a tough schedule (15 opponents with at least 15 wins, a tough Christmas Tourney, Boone Co., NCC Twice, Montgomery Co, St. Henry, Highlands, Lou. Holy Cross, Harlan, Defending 10th Region All “A” Champs St. Patrick (twice) and many others.) They played 5 of the 6 teams in the tenth region with winning records this year. They have the second best region record (12-3) and have scored the second most points (1711) of any team in the tenth region. The won the NKAC with a 7-1 record finishing ahead of NCC, St. Henry, Highlands, Holmes, Holy Cross and others. The had the top seed in the 37th District (4-0). They won the All “A” Tenth Region Championship. They finished in the top three and reached the semifinals of the All “A” State. By the way they had defeated two of the semifinalists and had scrimmaged the other during the regular season. Their junior varsity team and freshmen team both won the 37th District Championship which bodes well for the future considering the number of seniors the other teams in the District lose. You also have to factor in they have everyone back next year on varsity and they have one of the top 8th grade groups ever coming in next year. Although they were upset in the District final, they may have gotten a potentially better draw for the Region considering the upsets in District play. They have beaten (Campbell Co., Harrison Co., Deming, Bracken Co. (Twice), and Mason Co. They did not play Clark Co. And lost to Montgomery Co. By ten in a game that was much closer and tied at the half. Those are the teams that will make up the 10th Region Tourney right here in BBHS's backyard. They also played Boone. Co., St. Henry, Holmes, NCC (twice), and Highlands that will make up the field for the 9th Region Tournament. So those are the FACTS not opinions or statements made out of frustration. Whatever the fate is for the remaining of the year it has been an incredible and well earned season for the Lady 'Stangs and Bishop Brossart. And to think they may be a year or two away from being their best. Scary Edited February 24, 2012 by BigGreenHorse typo
BlueKrush Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Are we supposed to read all of that? You lost me about 2 and a half sentences in. A simple "I disagree" works.
