If Mayfield has a decent line and they get better over the season plus we have some outstanding young talent on the way, Mayfield can make some noise. Its too soon too say for now but I have high hopes for the season but I think in 10 we make a serious run.

Fort Campbell was the best team I saw all season.

I thought hands down FC was the best team I saw all year. If NCC beats them they have one heck of a team. I didn't see much weakness in FC.

Me being a Mayfield I would like for CC to at least be competive . I have seen Beechwood play this year . I dont think CC can run the ball on them and CC is not a passing team. Beechwood will be a much more physical team than any other team CC has faced. I look for this to be a 4 to 7 TD victory for Beechwood.

Congrats to the Rockets. The better team won. Mayfield did have it's chances but couldn't make the big plays when they needed it.

I think this will be the game that lets us know if Mayfield has awoken from it's sleep this season. If so, I could see them getting to the 4th round of the playoffs. If not, about round 2. I dont mean just winning the game but playing good solid ball. Good solid play on both sides of the ball I like a 2 to 3 TD win. Sloppy ball means barely a win or a lose.

I ain't really looking ahead, maybe more of a peek. And you're right, one game at a time.

If they beat HC , whom I know very little about, I like their chances very much against CC. The point being ,if they play 4 quarters of ball each game up to Beechwood I believe they can get it done. Also, I believe whomever wins a Mayfield/HC matchup that winner will be the one to play Beechwood.

Mayfield's best game of the year. It wasn't against a great team but a respectable team. Hopefully they will keep improving for Caldwell next week and then the playoffs. The Cards did finally play 4 quarters and even laid some wood last night. I saw some swarming to the ball and good effort the whole night. Murrell is a tough runner and gives a good effort all the time. If Mayfield can play with this intensity the rest of the way I like their chances up to Beechwood. Then I think it would take great effort and some luck to pull that one out.

They need to win a game their not heavily favored like Marshall or Caldwell or both. The Cards have underachieved all season.

Mayfield can win this game if they can control the line of scrimmage. Also, if they can play for the 1st time this year 4 complete quarters. The talent is there, now the boys must execute.

Not exactly a quality win. Mayfield has still not played a complete game. This bunch might not do it either. The team has talent and if they start playing better as a team for 4 quarters they could have a nice season.
