Final from Campbell County HS. * A night after knocking off Notre Dame (39-30) on the road they get another road win here against the Camels. There was a running clock in the 2nd half. Another night of balance scoring by the Holy Cross offense. The Indians will next play at Beechwood on Saturday in a 35th district seeding game.

Well DD - it looks like my Indians get round 1 vs Notre Dame last night 39-30 in Park Hills. They need to avoid a let down tonight when they travel to Campbell Co. That should be a good game.

Holy Cross 10 12 9 8 - 39 Notre Dame 9 5 11 5 - 30 Holy Cross Scoring - Hunt 9, Hayes 9, Wimzie 8, Nelson 8, Arlinghaus 3, Carter 2. * I did not get all of the scoring totals for Notre Dame but pretty sure Sophia Gibson had 12 to lead the way.

Holy Cross beat Pikeville last year in the semis 48-32 and then went on to defeat Bethlehem in the finals. I think a rematch of Holy Cross/Pikeville this year in the finals would be an excellent game if it were to happen.

Congrats to Campbell County they played really well! Holy Cross plays Holmes Friday in Latonia.

I’ll be going down to broadcast for Holy Cross. I’d be shocked if there were no outlets for us to use. Now getting good internet service/hardwire that is another question. I saw the media sheet for Corbin Arena where it said no outlets but they have to have them in my opinion.

Final from Bellevue. Holy Cross (11-4) will advance to play Newport (14-3) tomorrow night at 7:00 in the All “A” Classic finals.

I'm hearing that Newport Sophomore guard Taylen Kinney is 16 points away from 1,000.

Semi finals tonight at Bellevue High School. 6:00 pm - Holy Cross (10-4) vs Beechwood (8-6) 7:45 pm - Newport (13-3) vs NCC (5-10) * Winners will play in the finals tomorrow night at 7:00 pm.

Tommy Sorrell has been at it for a long time down in Bellevue and has done a great job with his girls and that program ! Classy act!

Flanagan is out with a wrist injury I was told for St. Henry. Also, Brady Gabbard still isn't back for Holy Cross with a wrist injury although he did get his cast off a few days ago so he may be back soon.

We will see what happens next week when Holy Cross goes to Notre Dame. I think Holy Cross wins but these games have always been tough battles the last few years. I really like this Holy Cross team and will like it even more when when D'Myah Williams finally returns to action. I also think the Indians have played a much tougher schedule thus far than what Notre Dame has. Now whether or not that pays off next week or the rest of the season remains to be seen. Holy Cross goes to GRC next week prior to playing ND. Both Holy Cross and ND teams are very good teams.

They would be a potential 1st round matchup for the 9th region girls All "A" winner.

Holy Cross Radio will be at NCC for tomorrow night's opening round game of the All "A" Classic between Holy Cross and the winner of St. Henry/Bellevue and then back for the finals (if they make it that far) for Holy Cross on Saturday night. A Newport/Lyon County final would be a fun one to watch!

Solid win for the Indians vs a quality opponent. Gearing up for the All "A" Tournament next week at NCC.

Great tournament for these top teams to play in. The Holy Cross/Boyd County game tonight should be a good one as well.

Cov Holy Cross cruises to a blowout win over Bethlehem 73-49 in round one. Running clock in the 3rd quarter. Julia Hunt led the way with 18 points. Alyssa Arlinghaus had 15 and Aniyah Carter added 13. Next up Boyd Co tomorrow at 8:30 pm. Should be a great game.

The Indians inprove to 6-2 on the season and have now won five straight games after the blowout win tonight. Senior Julia Hunt led the way with 18 points. Freshman Alyssa Arlinghaus had 15 and Junior Aniyah Carter added 13. Holy Cross will advance in the winners bracket to face Boyd County tomorrow night at 8:30 pm. Boyd Co beat Manual 70-58.

Holy Cross led by as many as 11 late in the first half. Boone Co outscored Holy Cross 22-7 in the 3rd quarter to get the lead and go on to win. The young Indians played well without leading scorer Nate Rominger (19 ppg) and 2 others still out hurt. Give the Rebels credit too though they had to earn this one on the road. This Holy Cross team has been a surprise so far this season and will get better and better once their injured kids return.

The Holy Cross bench is definitely thin at this point until they welcome the return of D'Myah Williams. I really hope Leah Macy plays because I think it will be a nice matchup. Good luck to all teams this week what a tournament.
