Boone Co. (6-1) plays in the "Capitol City Classic" tomorrow vs. tourney host Franklin Co. 

Holy Cross (5-2) hosts Bracken Co. on Friday.

    Holy Cross led by as many as 11 late in the first half. Boone Co outscored Holy Cross 22-7 in the 3rd quarter to get the lead and go on to win. The young Indians played well without leading scorer Nate Rominger (19 ppg) and 2 others still out hurt. Give the Rebels credit too though they had to earn this one on the road.

    This Holy Cross team has been a surprise so far this season and will get better and better once their injured kids return.
