Late in the game it was obvious that CCH wouldn't keep up with Holmes. They made it look easy late in the game. Now if they can improve on defensive rotations look out in the regional tourney!

So Mark Perry the HC called the Offense at WC. But 2 position coaches both claim to be the OC? Hmm...... Good luck to Coach Arvin at Grant. Oh and why has no one hired Craig Yeast yet? He has applied for or interviewed for every HC job in the state this off season. Hmm....

No need to speculate. Ron Madrick will make the right decision. He knows the kids of Covington better than anyone.

He has a woman in KY, that's why he came to KY. Good guy and a very knowledgeable coach. I hope he gets some good people around him considering he doesn't know many people in the state.

They fund youth league, MS and HS programs. Board and previous super told HC "No Bingo, No Football."

Anyone that knows anything about GC knows that the School Board runs the show in that district. You could hire Bill Parcels to come in and be Sup and it won't matter. Oh and they have "found" positions for both boys and girls head basketball coaches. Why do you ask, because the school board only cares about basketball.

budget/position issues are not issues to an administration that is committed to being successful at football. Look at the top academic schools in the state and they are also good at football. Football season sets the climate for the year. Fact! GC has no interest in being a good football program. The assist pay is almost insulting for a 5A school and they allow the parents WAY too much say so. Especially for a community that hasn't even had football very long, therefore MOST of the parents in the community have never played football or went to a school that had football. GC should be a great job but it never will because of priorities. Honestly from what i know of GC they would rather cater to a girls basketball coach than get a top notch football coach. No tradition and no one in power wanting to establish tradition = bad job!!! Wake up GC and commit to something!

heard they are having a hard time finding candidates that want the job. first priority should be to get rid of the booster cancers.

A lot of good asst in NKY that could be HC's. This job will be attractive to a lot of good coaches. I wouldn't be handing it over to someone just yet. Great job coach Styer!!!

A lot of returning players in this program. With the right hire improvement shouldn't be that hard of a task.

Peterson had 3 catches for 92 yds and a touchdown! Took 2 hitches for an average of 39 yds each. He's the best WR in the state! Kid is a freak.

180 of Scott's rushing yards came in the 4th quarter against the Holmes JV. Oh and Holmes only threw the ball 9 times (for a 123 yds) the whole game because Lickert has class and didn't want embarrass his old college coach. 2 starting WR were not playing (one of which is the best in NKY) and 2 starting D-linemen which is why Scott's Oline looked good. Scott player get after it though! No questioning their toughness. But you Scott fans are clueless! As far as the playoffs go we'll see how good the Dawgs are.

Scott moved the ball well late after Holmes put defensive subs in and Scott left all 11 starters in on both sides of the ball. Jensen was huge again!
