To be honest it didnt look like a bad collision at all. I thought maybe he just got cleated or at the worst hyperextended his knee.

He was receiving the ball from Dematteo on an attempted double play so his foot was on the bag and he fell almost as soon as he caught it.

He slid into the bag. He didnt go over it. It looked like any other high school slide I've ever seen.

If West pitches for Conner and Smallwood pitches for Dixie Heights if they happen to match up some how then it will be a very low scoring game.

It was clean. I think Abelings leg was just either too stiff or the kid came in a bit too hard. It wasnt intentionally to break his leg. Its not like the kid went out of the baseline to do it. He went straight into the bag.
