Rockstar
Bellevue and Highlands play today for a trip to the championship where Newport awaits the winner. Who are you all taking in this one?

goaheadandjump
If there is such a thing as a trap game this is it...............................Foregone conclusion that the winner of Highlands/NCC is going to regional............................... having to use #1 pitcher on monday..................emotional rivalry victory over NCC. Bellevue has two strong veteran pitchers. Who knows how that will be handled............but if Bellevue plays solid defense and Highlands comes out a little flat it could be a very tight game. I think you hit the nail on the head with this statement. For Bellevue, it all comes down to defense IMO. If they have good defense behind whoever pitches, then it could be an exciting one at the Vets...

bluegrass
Who are the veteran pitchers for Belleview? I know Piper but who else? Piper and Mike Young. Both very effective from the mound.
jpa2825
Anyone know who will be "on the bump" for the Birds? If you start Murray, how many innings do you expect after he dealt 2 inn v. NCC on MON? Perhaps you start Dill and let Murray come out of the 'pen if needed. I am similarly concerned about this being a "trap" game. Never know at this age. Let's hope Birds keep the FAITH. School Yard
Should be a good game if Piper pitches. Don't see either team doing any good in the Regional tournament however. Easy game for the winner of another district who plays 36th championship loser.
