Bellevue has two strong veteran pitchers. Who knows how that will be handled............but if Bellevue plays solid defense and Highlands comes out a little flat it could be a very tight game.

I think you hit the nail on the head with this statement. For Bellevue, it all comes down to defense IMO. If they have good defense behind whoever pitches, then it could be an exciting one at the Vets...

Anyone know who will be "on the bump" for the Birds? If you start Murray, how many innings do you expect after he dealt 2 inn v. NCC on MON? Perhaps you start Dill and let Murray come out of the 'pen if needed.

 

I am similarly concerned about this being a "trap" game. Never know at this age. Let's hope Birds keep the FAITH.

Should be a good game if Piper pitches. Don't see either team doing any good in the Regional tournament however. Easy game for the winner of another district who plays 36th championship loser.
