  1. They're first big game was the first game of the season which they beat Conner handly. They also have beaten Colerain, NCC and Campbell County which are all pretty big games in my opinion. Im not too sure they have beat a team by less than 10pts.
  2. Pike and Hatton was too much for the Birds. Stansberry did a great job also. How many points did Pike have. He had to have had 30+
  3. Usually kids that are throwing that hard, that early run into some sort of arm issues. Take Chandler Shephard for example. Hope Clinton doesn's run into anything serious but im just saying.
  4. That was a quick argument haha. Alexander hands down.
  5. When one of your players has more than half of your points not that many other players is going to score.
  6. ^ I totally agree. Nothing even compares to the Colonels student section. If you havent seen it then you need to get out to the gym and witness them yourself. Its definately worth the admission and more.
  7. He made all 7 of his 3's in the first half which is amazing. He didnt miss a 3 in the 1st half. In the 2nd half he got cold though.
  8. Hassel, Cohorn and Hatton did the job in the first half with Trammel taking over responsibilities in the 2nd half.
  9. Trammel runs the floor very nice. He had some assists last night to Pike in transition that he just flew down the court and out ran everybody for the Camels. Very speedy.
  10. Whats some of your thoughts as the 'Breds come into Edgewood tomorrow night and take on the #1 team in the region in their first home game of the year? Ill take Dixie by 8+ Pike will have trouble having the kind of success he did last night against a much bigger, skilled player in Geisler. Also Trammel will have his hands full with Higtchew (Sp?).
  11. Pike and Hatton way to much for the Colonels tonight. The score might of been greater for the Colonels if Trammel would have played at all the entire first half. He didnt even come into the game until about 6 mins left to go in the 3rd. Word was he forgot his jersey at home so that was the penalty. He wore number 43 last night instead of his number.
  12. Pike did play. A huge prescense inside. Ill tell you right now Dixie will be very tough to beat when Trammel can dish the ball to Hatton, Stansberry, and Hassel. Anybody on the court can shoot and drain the 3 for Dixie at any time. That'll be a huge problem for their oppenents. For Conner no one really impressed me all that much except for Hodges. That kid can play with the best of them. He is a huge body inside. He must of had 5 blocked shots tonight. He also has a great outside game. Much like Elijah Pittman.
  13. Tiberi from Holy Cross and Murray from Highlands are all around better. Bezold is also very good.
  14. If this game is anything like last weeks game against SK you better get there early. There was not a single space in the bleachers to sit and hardly any standing room. like stated before there is only 2 games in NKY this week so i expect a big crowd. Dont get me wrong Ryle's one side seating is HUGE as ive never seen all the bleachers taken up before. I got there last week around 6:45 for the 7:30 game against SK and the bleachers were almost full. Get there early
  15. Heard the same thing. Good luck to him as he is a fine pitcher.
  16. Quintan Murray- Highlands Blake Tiberi- Holy Cross Tanner Norton- Bishop Brossart Justin Cohake- Holy Cross
  17. Coachg I now know who you are. Your son is a great, I mean great baseball player. He definately deserves to play college ball. But ill give an example, Ronald Cotton is on a D1 roster right now. For what reason? Because UC was the Chiefs homefield last year. His 2nd best offer was Transylvania, so your telling me a MLB draft pick and a kid who now plays on a D1 team just for the fact that UC was their home field, his 2nd best offer was a D3 school. Now I've only seen Ronald play a handful of times but he is a D1 athlete for sure and if he played for a team such as Kentucky Colonels or Midland he would have multiple D1 offers. Also Sam Ligget is purely and simply the best catcher I've seen in years and the best the Chiefs could get him was a D3 scholarship. He is a high D2 or D1 catcher in many peoples opinions. But he was on the wrong team. He plays for another summer ball team last year he is getting scholarship money for baseball.
  18. I agree with your Marley. For as little of a time that I have known Sanders he is a good guy. He knows a lot about the game and is great with the kids. But Bluegrass isn't the same Bluegrass of years past. Kids want to be seen and they want to play at the next level if they play travel ball. And Bluegrass simply hasn't been doing that recently. There schdeule for the past couple of years has been weak from what I have heard. They play all there. Tournaments locally with n exception to a year end tournament in Pittsburgh. And that tournament apparently has no scouts and no competition. It is simply for the love of the game. While most kids on travel teams are playing in East Cobb or a big world series at the end of the year, Bluegrass is playing in a tournament which kids can't be noticed. I am not knocking Coach Sanders one bit because as Marley said he has more wins than I have or will ever have. I think kids have began to depart from the organization because they want to be able to get the looks. Teams like Midland, Cincy Flames, Storm Club and Kentucky Colonels and other teams like that are getting kids names out there and getting them signed. Bluegrass is not doing that like they used to. But like I said I am 36 and have 0 wins under my belt so he is head and shoulders better of a coach than I am and is a great guy. Not trying to tell him how to schdeule because frankly if that is what the kids want then let it be but from what I have heard recently it is not.
