Whats some of your thoughts as the 'Breds come into Edgewood tomorrow night and take on the #1 team in the region in their first home game of the year?

 

Ill take Dixie by 8+ Pike will have trouble having the kind of success he did last night against a much bigger, skilled player in Geisler. Also Trammel will have his hands full with Higtchew (Sp?).

If this game was later in the season, I'd say NCC has a very good chance of beating Dixie. However, many for New Cath are just stepping onto the basketball floor. I'll take Dixie by 13.

Dixie is playing well right now, I'll take Coach Chevy's guys by 12.

I'm with the Observer on this one. The early season match up favors Dixie, plus Dixie has already logged a couple of W's over a tough early schedule.

I like Dixie in this one but I can GUARANTEE Pike doesn't put up 28 with Geisler on him. I'm going to say Zeke is held in check but the array of different weapons that Dixie has leads them to victory over a sluggish Newcath team that is still getting in to basketball shape.

Non factor IMO, if anything a liability when on the court. I think he is a safety valve for when Geisler gets in foul trouble with the loss of Morse. Jack will be a space eater and force teams out of the paint but any good team will turn on the afterburners when he is in the game and run em to death.

If they dont it will look like a JV team out there unfortunately. With the exception of Sophomore Michael Beuter who is a bonafide player that can shoot and has a high basketball IQ. I am not familiar with any other kids that are not footballers.

They will play but might be a little rusty and not quite in basketball shape yet.

Think I'll take in this game, need to see what else Dixie has coming up for next year. :sssh:
