  1. No sir I am not, I'm most likely a little too old for that. I just know alot of faimilies at Beechwood. Im more of a Dixie faithful in case you couldn't already tell from my previous posts.
  2. I heard Sexton will be on the mound for the Colonels so he will shut the Tigers down. Also since Johnson pitched yesterday for the Tigers and Bertke is out for a few weeks I'm taking the Colonels. Dixie Heights 6 Beechwood 0
  3. Colin Johnson started for the Tigers and then Ben Studer came in relief. I dont know the kids name who started for the Camels. Zach Larimore hit a homerun for the Tigers and Coy Shephard hit one for the Camels. Next up for the Camels is Dixie Heights Thursday. Next up for the Tigers is Dixie Heights Friday.
  4. Game was played at Simon Kenton. Fuller started for the Indians and kept the 'Neers off balance all day only giving up 2 hits. For the 'Neers Bryan Waibel was on the mound. Off day for this young man as physical and mental errors behind him plagued him. Good showing by the Indians though. Good luck to both teams for the rest of the season!
  5. Who said his life isn't straightened out? Stop giving the kid a hard time. Maybe he was just having trouble getting switched over. So every kid from now on that switches schools and has a little trouble switching, there life isn't straightened out? No need to assume things when you don't know.
  6. Enough with the he's not eligible to play this year stuff. In fact he wasnt planning on playing this year anyone, he was going to play next year. And the reason I KNOW he is eligible is because I talked to Mr. Ken Chevalier and he said he talked to Desean today and he was planning on playing both basketball and football next year. I asked if he was eligible and he said yes he is.
  7. Walter, he did not hear wrong. He IS indeed enrolled at Dixie as of today. He was at school today attending classes and walking the halls with Dixie students in between classes. He is definately at Dixie Heights now.
  8. How are you so sure? Word going around Dixie is that after school today he has to go home and help his family move in.
  9. One month aftert this thread was started about Desean Peterson going to Dixie, he is finally enrolled at Dixie Heights and attending classes. Today is his first day.
  10. Colin Johnson is the #1 on the Beechwood staff without a shadow of a doubt. Johnson has definately put in some hard work this off season and it shows on his body. He has muscled up a little but and he is throwing harder as a result. He also has great accuracy.
  11. Glad to see Jackson back on the hump. The Rebels will need him this season to step up on the mound with the loss of Deno and Alford.
  12. Tough outing for Doug Teegarden it looks like. Oh well, its the beginning of the season and everyone knows what the kid is made of. He will bounce back and be a top notch pitcher. No worries.
  13. Well apparently he improved then. I never heard of the kid before the scrimmages Dixie had and he did pretty well. Hes not a starter for Dixie but he does his job when he gets in and does it will.
  14. He played JV last year for Holmes. Don't worry I'm not lying.
  15. He played baseball last year for Holmes. He's a junior. He is a scrappy player that can hit the ball well. In the NCC scrimmage he went 3-3.
  16. Dixie Heights scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning. Dixie hit the ball hard this game but it seemed like it was right at people wearing purple. Pitching and defense was the name of the game.
  17. Brad Popham hit a triple. Corbin Dematteo hit some good shots. Spencer Riddle had a couple nice hits. Reggie Bates also had a nice 2 out 2 rbi double.
  18. Tyler Sexton started for the Colonels and pitched 5 innings striking out 10 and giving up 1 hit and no earned runs. Conner East came in reliefe and got the save. East is a very promising lefty. Southern is a veery good team who beat Trinity last year and who beat Louisville Seneca earlier today 19-1 just for you who don't know who Southern is.
  19. Cody Sprague started for the Colonels. He struck out 6 and gave up 1 earned run. Ryan Sexton came in reliefe and struck out 2 and gave up no runs. The Colonels have a good hitting team this year to say the least. Tyler Sexton went 2-3 with a triple, double and 4 rbi's.
  20. Top 10 in NKY and Kenton County. Not state though. They have improved greatly and have alot of good young talent.
  21. Polls dont mean a thing. I know this isnt a basketball thread but if I remember correctly Connor was ranked as the preseason #1 team in the 9th region this year and we all know how that went for them. I just think they are overrated. Dont get me wrong they are a very talented group of players but there not as hyped up as you make them.
