Which game would of helped GRC more Brossart or the Somerset Christian team?

I was hoping to see the Panthers keep the streak going but without Burns it would have been tough. Are any rankings out yet and is Fleming ranked in them?

I dont know how these tournaments are run. Can you withdraw from one game and ask to be put in another one? What happened to the northern KY teams that withdrew from their first round games? Didnt they have to forfeit those games or did they get to make them up. Is it different in games after the first round? Even though I dont travel and wouldnt get to see the game a GRC Brossart game would have been interesting.

So whats the deal here? GRC cant play Brossart but they get to play the team that got beat by 50 in their first 2 games? Who will Brossart play? Something isnt adding up here.

Looks like a 1 horse race in District 40 this year.

I know Rowan is down this year but its still a surprise to me for them to lose to Grant. Looks like Grant had a big come back in the 4th quarter.

I am happy to see the Panthers doing well this year. Its good to see them actually get a good transfer (Crisp)in instead of losing their players to other teams. Sounds like a lot of complaining from the Scott fans about the refs. Fleming is good this year, they dont have to have help from the refs.

Lets hope everybody players and fans are safe on the roads tonight.

This is no big surprise. Theres no telling what kind of team Fleming could have had if they had been able to keep some of their guys away from Winchester.

GRC will have an easy time in this game. As long as that oneway road from Flemingsburg to Winchester stays open the Cardinals should always be one of the favorites in the Tenth Region.

Ive only seen the teams in the northern part of the region. The players that I liked the most were Mcgovney from Campbell, Black from Mason Back from Bracken and Monroe from Pendleton. I am sure there are many more that should be on the list, I havent seen GRC, Montgomery, etc.

Dont worry too much. There are a couple GRC posters who will keep you up to date on Mason County's basketball games especially if they lose or dont win by enough. They seem more worried about Mason County than Mason County does!

Thats a couple of real nice region 10 wins for Scott early on. Always a tough team.

Wow what a difference a week makes. Paris takes Montgomery into the 4th quarter with a lead and now maybe Mason's double digit win at Paris on the road with last year's junior varsity wasnt so horrible after all. Maybe there were good reasons why this game was scheduled even if some wonder what in the world Mason and Paris are doing playing each other. Maybe just maybe Mason wanted to schedule a game against the team that has the best post player in region 10.

I agree with MNCM 100 percent. Congratulations to all those who got to try out and to those picked for the team. Im happy to see a nice tenth region presence on the team. Ive seen a lot of Gilbert and Smith; Id give the slight edge to Gilbert overall and that is no offense to Smith at all. Both are very good point guards.

Its been a while since Ive been on. Stinks not having a computer of my own. Congratulations to both teams on making the finals and to Christian on the championship. I did listen to the game on the radiio and it sounded like a great one.

Pendleton will for sure bring a great following to this one. On paper Mason should win but the games are played on the court and not on paper.

Blowout city. Mason was up by 26 against Harrison before cruising and this one wont be any different. GRC 84 Harrison 48 even if the bench plays a lot of minutes for GRC.

Maybe Shelby Valley got hot at the right time! Its hard to count out a defending champ, maybe they had some bench players last year that are getting experience now.

What does Russell have coming back next year? I keep hearing that theyre young, can they be a big factor in the 16th region next year?

I will be listening. I will guess Mason in a close one, it should be a good game. It will be interesting to hear how Pawsat plays.

Being a 10th Region follower for a while I don't think that the school youre talking about is a big secret. I dont think we are talking shenanigans, but there have been quite a few from Fleming that wind up there.

Really does anybody take those polls serious? I would rank them Clark and Scott 1 and 2 with Mason Campbell and Montgomery fighting it out for the third best in the 10th this year. I know Mason beat Scott early but I thought Scott was real shorthanded that game. It looks like the top bracket first round games should be real close and the bottom bracket first round games should not.
