There are girls that run track that do no play soccer in the spring, they can compete with the select players. Speed is something that can not be beat, in any sport.

I have to disagree that all of the good players do not play year round. They are kids that play year around and should not even take the field at all. I will take anyone's money if they want their child to play select.

Here is my take, this is High School Soccer, it is not select. High Schools Coaches are hired to put the team in the best position to compete. If a parent does not like it, then they need to apply for the job. Just because someone plays Select Soccer, does not mean they have any talent. Every parent thinks their child is better than they are actually. Some of the best players do not play Select Soccer, they play Basketball, run Track and etc. Terry Bray will land somewhere else, and when he does, I hope he beats the Mustangs 10-0.

The answer here is to get rid of the AD, he turns his back and refuses to back the coaches. He lets the parents get away with murder. In the last five years, how many different coaches at BBHS, were let go, or left on their own? Anyone in their right mind would turn a job down there. Parents think that their kids are great in thier sports, when in all reality, the truth hurts. How many student athletes are really going to be able to compete at the next level? Sports for the most part are an importan partt of development in the future lives of young men and women.

Brossart draws kids form a larger area than the City of Bellevue, so in my eyes I see that this was a good win for Bellevue. Brossart program has made good strides, but a move to 2A would set them back.

I am telling you, Cov Cath out to two touchdown lead in first quarter and never looks back. I call them as I see them. New Cath is a good team, but they will fall this week to a much improving Cov Cath. Cov Cath dominated the Camels, and New Cath just got by them.

Who do they play in their District first? I am sure that the tides will turn when they play some quality teams. Weak schedule will come back to hurt them later.

Nothing will ever change there, they are set in their ways. I am glad I am done with this School System after thsi year.

Two years ago players laid down because they did not want to make the playoffs. Is that passion? 35 years, are you and your family, one of the good ole boys? Last year the current coaching staff was to be released, but they decided to keep. How can a school that big perform like that in Sports? Something is not right there, and looks like after 35 years, you can not figure it out either. I will done with Campbell County after this year and will be glad, because if I was a coach of another school, I would want to schedule them.

You said it yourself, the Colonels played with passion, when was the last time you seen a Campbell County Football team do that? The team has players that get suspended for all sorts of reasons. So there is no way each week to tell what team is going to be on the field. If the students deserve better, then why did the keep the current staff? They let a Basketball Coach go that did a decent job, but can keep a Football Coach that has no control over his team. Campell County if nothing is done here in the next year, then you can count of the other school in Alexandria to grow, as well as that school on the hill in Newport. Can they beat New Cath, an AA school? What team will show up, what players will be ineligible or suspended. A good coaching staff would put their foot down and right the ship now.

Do not count out Cooper. Who can the Camels beat on the schedule now? They have Ryle, Conner, Cooper, Simon Kenton, Ryle, Clark, and New Cath. It appears to be a long season here, can they rebound and come together as a team? It is a soap "All my Camels". The head coach inherited a program that was under John Schlarman, and after his group of young men graduated, the program has been going down hill fast . ( 2004 - 5-5, 2005 - 6-4, 2006 - 8-4, 2007 - 6-5, 2008 - 5-5, 2009 - 3-7, 2010 - 1-2.) Do not expect change here in coaching, I had heard that the New Ad is related to the Head Coach. It seems that the good ole boy mentality is alive at Campbell County. Until, this changes here and they bring in an outsider that has no ties, you will get what you ordered up here.

Campbell County beats Norwood, then loses large twice in back to back games. There are issues with suspended players, ineligible players, injured players and players quiting this week and then come back in the same week. I have also heard that the coaches always worry about during their games, where they will be going to party afterwards. They let the Basketball Coach go for lack of performance, but kept the Football Staff. I will say now, do not expect them to make the playoffs. Bob Miller Stadium will be emptier as the season progresses.

I have heard the wheels are coming off the wagons at the Desert . Ineligible Players, Suspended Players, a player who quit then come back in the same week, and injured players. Does not look good for them next week at Home against NCC. Bob Miller Stadium will be empty by seasons end if they do not right the ship now.
