  1. Why would a wet field benefit the Camels? Just curious. Conner has a full stable of mudders.
  2. Outside observers will never understand Conner's passing game, it's too complex. But Clyde is correct, they take what the D gives. Very difficult and unpredictable for the opposing team. They also have only scratched the surface on their playbook. Going to be a fun team to watch the second half of the season, lots of new things coming. I was just reading the Conner preseason prediction thread.............a good laugh for sure. Questions about their line, their receivers, their backs and whether they could even get to 5 wins. This team has a very high ceiling. Can't wait for Homecoming night. Send em' home happy boys.
  3. Might be an interesting scenario. If Conner has their district locked up, will this game have much meaning?? We shall see.
  4. The penalties against Conner were ridiculous. I believe it was 16 (for over 100 yards) for Conner vs. 3 for Ryle. Both personal fouls against Barker by #42 for Ryle. Things you would not expect from a coach's son.
  5. Barker extends his unbeaten streak against the Camels. Cougars roll on Homecoming night.
  6. Nothing more than "Fool's Gold". Time will tell.........
  7. Conner has a frosh group that will be reckoned with going forward. A very good collection of athletes.
  8. I look forward to seeing this game as well. Should be a fun night in Union. Always great atmosphere.
  9. Will be more difficult with Warwick back in the lineup.
  10. He was?? Don't recall him missing any time........
  11. Keep one thing in mind, the game Friday night was a non-district game and I'm sure Coach Trosper did not show all of his cards. Conner's main goal is to run the district table and get the home field until they reach Bowling Green. Keep an eye on the Cougars. They also get one of their starting LB'ers back this week who has missed the first 1.5 games in Jacob Warwick. He will be a difference maker.
  12. Think they kicked from the SK 45. Ball was placed on the 20.
  13. SK o-line was very impressive. Are those big boys seniors? Looked like a college line.
  14. Kid was a stud last night. He made some very good moves to make defenders miss. He will have a huge year.
  15. For the people in attendance.........when was the last time you saw a HS football game with zero turnovers?
  16. Wow......not one post about this game? Seems odd.
  17. Really hate to hear these things about these young men who work their tails off to prepare for the season. Hope all is well with both.
  18. I thought SK had the option of 1) Conner re-kicking 2) Taking the ball at the spot where it went out of bounds (around the 20, which is what they chose).
  19. Great catch. One of the best I've seen. Clutch. Play of the game. Iced it.
  20. Fun game to watch and call. Two good teams battling. Congrats to the Pioneers on the win.
  21. Interesting the thread title spelled the school's name from Hebron correct, yet your post gets it wrong over and over. Not like it's a new school. C'mon man.
  22. How does this happen? I thought Cooper had a feeder program?
