Article is not factual. Romey, not Loney caught TD pass. This was a horrible officiating crew also. Conner got some good ole' home cooking for sure. The holding calls alone were a joke. S.Oldham with zero (had one, but refs decided to pick up the flag). Conner with a bunch which destroyed numerous drives. I also thought a personal foul was an automatic first down?? Anyone? Really interested to see penalty yardage for both teams.

This is a fun hypothetical. I think this would be a great team and could compete with any team in the state and beyond.

Didn't the "experts" say Cooper had zero chance to compete with BG last year? They hung around and with a couple of breaks, the game could have gone their way. It's one game, anything can happen, especially with a BG team that would come in as if it's a scrimmage game.

Penalties (16-3) kept Conner from dominating Ryle on the scoreboard, but they controlled this game the entire way as Ryle picked up a late score with about 4 seconds to go. As far as CC goes, this game would of been alot different if not played on a slop with pouring down rain. There was a very good reason Coach Lickert declined Trosper's offer to move the game to CC on Saturday. In spite of the slop, Conner still put together an 80 yard drive to close it out. In those conditions, VERY impressive. Had to be there to appreciate it. They also had zero turnovers which may have been equally impressive.

Yes he does. Played Varsity against Conner and came back the next morning as their JV work horse. KY needs the 5 quarter rule like the one OH uses.

Cougars will come in focused and ready to play. They go 3-1 against their four 6A non-district opponents which has them primed for district play. I think they still have a bad taste in their mouths after last year's debacle in Hebron. Conner's defense is getting better each week as their new scheme is paying dividends this season. The personnel they have fits the new scheme to perfection. Their PA this season vs. last is night and day. I think their offense will have a big night in Pee Wee Valley Friday night on the turf. Conner O needs to get the early lead and let the D do the rest. Cougars roll.

Cooper is not awful. This will be a very close game imo. You say they are, so how in the world could Scott lose this game?? I think this will be a close game into the 4thQ. Good luck to both teams and may they both come away injury free.

Wow. Two years in a row Conner pulls out a W with under :35. Big props to both teams who really wanted this game bad. The field was like a mud pond in spots, just deplorable. Put field turf in your remaining three schools BC. You know it's inevitable, why wait?

Comparing TX ball to KY ball is apples and oranges. What are the two states respective populations. If the states were divided into classes, TX would be 6A and KY would be 1A or 2A.
