Score I got....

Wow......not one post about this game? Seems odd.

I agree. Seems odd as Ryle typically draws a fair amount of attention on the site in all sports.

Expect continued radio silence from South Union. The win over Cooper was a fluke and the may get only one more W this season. Two if all the planets line up favorably.

A lot of good things that I saw tonight from the Raiders on the defensive side especially. DE Shazaad Mann made a super strip and intercept at midfield on the last play of the first half that started with 6 seconds left. He sprinted down the sideline but was caught at the 1-foot line. That would have made it 21-7 at the break. Great effort, Mr. Mann. Greg Simpson, QB from Sycamore, is an absolute stud player. The Aves would defeat every NKY team except Highlands. Nice solid team and strong on O and D lines with good speed and athleticism at skill positions. We will find out a lot about how the Raiders stack up in NKY when Conner led by outstanding QB Drew Barker invades Friday. Ryle plays hard. Passing game needs work. IMHO, the Cooper win was not a fluke. Scott Co and Sycamore are just at another level than NKY teams not named Highlands. We will find out as the season continues. Congrats to the Aves and Raiders keep playing hard and good things will happen.

Shahzaad is a DT, not a DE. Different positions in the 50 defense. This was one of the most horribly officiated games I have ever seen. Shahzaad was clearly in the endzone. This was not the only terrible call on the night. There were several missed blocks in the back on the Sycamore interception return. It should have been called back. The score should have been 21-7 at the half. Ryle's defense shut out Sycamore in the 2nd half. Ryle would have had some momentum going into the 2nd half without that ridiculous call.
