  1. Don't assume that the coaches did not know the down.....
  2. Conner JV was undeafted. Ryle came out and ran the ball well. In the second half they threw the ball (something that you have not seen alot of on their JV). The Ryle JV QB is very quick. He ran for 3 touchdowns and was very elusive. Not a big kid. I saw him play varsity Friday night and he picked up several yards on a couple of carries.
  3. http://www.ustream.tv/channel/ryle-high-school-football-2010I know that the game will be broadcast live on ustream.
  4. They struggled last year through the first 7 weeks, how does that effect this year? They are 5-2 with one more lost this year than last year (Colerain, DeSales). To me, they start clicking during the SK game of this year. SK, Bonne and Conner were beaten by a team that is working together. The offense is spreadout more. From Pulice to Davis to Nutter to Ryan Smith...Ryle is not relying on ONE back. Is Campbell County that good or is Dixie that bad? Ryle wins this by 3 TD's.
  5. the answer is yes and it is at 10:00 at Ryle. http://www.ryleraiderfootball.org
  6. There were several juniors playing on the team for Ryle on Saturday but none of the junionrs were everyday starters on Varsity. I thought the Ryle team did real well offensively. They moved the ball well and their QB is really quick. He ran that option like a QB that had been doing it for years. Despite the 2 INT's he had several passes that we right on the money and gained a quite a few yards. Verversitale kid. JV needs one more weapon to get to the next level. Last year the Highlands 9th grade team beat Ryle 50-7. It was not even close, this year Ryle hung in there.
  7. I posted this on the Ryle football website and Ryle Raider facebook and I sent out a mobile text message.
  8. Ryle fumbles and CC takes over. The varisty is on the sidlines as the JV and Freshman take. CCC 49 Ryle 28
  9. CCC 28 Ryle 21 starting of 4th. Eliiot just had a 97 yeard kick off return.
  10. I was at the game on Thursday and on Saturday. Chris Roth was behind the plate for both games. On Thursday a player from Bryant Station got hit by a pitch and made NO, NONE, NADA attempt to get out of the way. Rosel approached Roth (who threw Rosel out last year on the same call/ruling) as Roth tried to describe the action of the hitter, Roth emulated the hitter and it was not even close. Roth tried to say that the hitter leaned out to avoid the hit but the reaction from the crowd was obvious that he got it wrong. On Saturday a Beechwood player got hit by a SLOW curve and made NO, NADA, ZERO, ZILCH attempt to get out of the way and Rosel again approached Roth and questioned the call. After Hempel got hit, or so it appeared that he got hit and was NOT awarded first base, Rosel again questioned Roth who told him "Let's not pick this up again from Thursday night." Coach said no let's not and the next thing I knew Rosel was headed towards the exit. It was obvious to me as a spectator that Roth had very little patience on Thursday night and then again on Sunday. If the player makes no attempt to get out of the way, he should not be awarded the base, and what I saw on Saturday and Thursday was no attempt. As a spectator, I want to see consistency from an umpire and the only consistency was inconsistency.
  11. I was at the game. It was a great game. We were able to stream it live, the annoucner did a great job, so we were told. Had 17 viewers watching the game. I heard that if Ryle wins on Tuesday, they were going to try and stream the game on Wednesday (weather permitting).
  12. www.ryleraiderfootball.orgI spoke to his mother yesterday at the track meet, she told me that he has commiteed to Western. Bill Schild, offensive lineman (senior) signed with Centre College. Caleb Lonkard (senior) signed with NKU for baseball.
  13. the game will be broadcast on ustream: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/ryle-high-school-baseball-broadcast Hopefully Coop will be avilable to commentate.
  14. Ryle: Conner Hempel: Harvard Zach Senvisky: Morehead State Tanner Teepen: Morehead State
  15. Tanner Teepen; Morehead State Zach Senvisky: Morehead State Conner Hempel: Harvard Congrats to all three...
  16. Really, their best player is a junior? I know he is one of the best players in county, but after going 12-2 (beating SK twice), one would think that minimum there would be one player? How come Chris Kelly (NCC) is not on this roster? I am not 100% familiar with the process...is it just seniors? Who voted? All coaches? All Classes? Just seems odd.....If one is a TRUE football fan, than I would like to see the best....
  17. How does this team not have a representative from Ryle on it? Seems odd, how are the players picked?
  18. When we started out to do this our budget was.....$0.00. The cost to stream the football games is $0.00. If you would like to send me an email, I can explain how we do it. The camera we are using is dated and the computer that we are using is a couple of years old; that being said, it is quite easy to do. rylewebmaster@ryleraiderfootball.org You don't have to be a tech person to figure it out. I will be more than happy to show.
