Ryle 42 Conner 14 (JV)

Great job by the Raiders as they throttled the previously undefeated Cougar JV. Outstanding first half of running and passing the ball very effectively to go up 35-7. Congrats to the Raiders!

If they were undefeated, who did they play? Miss more tackles and blocks than I ever seen for a jv team.

Ryle came out and put it to them QB and receivers were on same page today, nice to see.

Ryle came out from the start and played well.

As to the bolded, it sure was one of those days.:madman:. Seemed to be a going through the motions days for Conner... on top of a well played game by the Raiders.

Ryle's jv seems to be getting better every week. Good to see if you're a Raiders fan.

Conner JV was undeafted. Ryle came out and ran the ball well. In the second half they threw the ball (something that you have not seen alot of on their JV). The Ryle JV QB is very quick. He ran for 3 touchdowns and was very elusive. Not a big kid. I saw him play varsity Friday night and he picked up several yards on a couple of carries.

Let me preface this by saying I do not put much into JV team results as there are too many variables to read anything into future success. JV is about reps for individual players and learning schemes and, as importantly, getting the chance to play a game.

So....

I assume the normal JV QB for Conner is the kid that played Friday night because Drew Barker was out, correct?

Who then played QB?

Actually Clyde the QB that played on Friday night was a senior, not there JV QB

OK. I thought the kid was a soph. Thanks.

Conners JV qb got moved to qb right before the the Boone game. Prior to that he had not played qb since the 8th grade...he is a junior.
