I think at smaller schools like Mayfield it is hard for soccer and football to coexist. However in the case of kickers it has worked out very well! Mayfield's Tommy McNutt is a doozy and he is also the goalkeeper on the soccer team. Mayfield has done a good job tapping into the soccer team. Evan Granier, Tommy McNutt and McNutt a Sr is grooming Marc Wynstra a Fr to replace him who is also going to be a very good one in a few years!

The concession stand, parking, tickets and jumbotron should all be up and running smoothly by season end! The only thing is how "WEAK" the horn is on the play clock...it's like beeep!

At least it should be a solid "W" at home with the Bombers coming to War Memorial. A GREAT milestone for a great program!

Offensively vs Mayfield I would call it a tie, but "D" wise Mayfield is way ahead at this point! 3.)Reitz is a good team and playing them will only make O Cath stronger...

Very exciting first half and fourth quarter...nice facility they are putting together at Graves! Great win for the Eagles!

Mayfield should have scored at least two more times but turnovers and penalties killed drives/scores. Overall, Mayfield played just as I anticpated...had trouble with the option offense for the first half, but adjusted well. I thought Logan looked great in his decisionmaking and threw some strikes. I am VERY excited about Mayfield's passing game. Gary Hall, Xavier Shelton, Levi Pruett, and Jared McCustion, plus the running backs...WOW, should be an exciting year for the Cards offense! Wright was a good back for Heath and defintely will be a force in a few weeks when he gets in football shape! Good win for the Cards!
