What happened to all of the FHS coaches?

Good breakdown, I honestly think it's going to be a very close game. Strange things can happen on Senior Night games.

How even are these two teams? At all? Or is Brossart that much better?

It's a very interesting subject and I would say it has to do with various factors in today's world, I haven't looked but I wonder if other sports are going through a same decline? Youth burnout? Fear or concussions? With the emphasis put on earning scholarships in today's society, sports are becoming more like a job for kids on the youth level which could be running a lot out and could be an answer if we continue to see smaller numbers over the years. On the surface 10,000 seems like a huge amount but in the grand scheme of kids playing football it's less than a 1% drop, I just hope it is not a trend that continues into the future for the game we all love.

No one in that district is running with the hounds for long this season.

Bracken has a good coach and good kids up there. There are always going to be some detractors.

Why Casey County? They have a local guy coaching them that seems to be doing fairly well there.

Paris is legit. They have some size and are EXTREMELY fast.

BB is not in the same league as Paris. It doesn't take away from the great run they've had this year.

The district they will be playing with is Fairview, Paintsville, and Raceland. Realignment has made it hard on that district to go far in the playoffs if you don't get the 1 seed.

Their playoff run will last until the 1st round, no good options in the cross district that they will be playing in.

I think they have hit their ceiling. They have had an awesome start though!

Does Brossart have alot of speed? I am assuming they're not on the level of a Paris, correct?

I think it's going to be tough to jump them regardless if Beechwood wins out, until someone proves otherwise, Beechwood is the man in the 1A in the new alignment.

I don't see a running clock by either team unless they uncharacteristically turn it over. Which from the way stats look, it hasnt been an issue for either.

I think this has the makings of a good game. Looks like two strong running attacks on paper, I know Bracken has the huge fullback, so it should be a good match up in the trenches.

Are these teams evenly matched or is Brossart decidedly much better?

From an athletic perspective, Paris is probably 4-5 td's better than anyone in that district. It will be a huge game if both teams are coming in undefeated.

1A or 2A doesn't matter for Brossart in regards to winning games this season, they've only played one district game thus far so it is more of a good group of kids that have came out and a winnable non district schedule, they have fought extremely hard in games and very easily could be sitting at 2-4 right now as opposed to 6-0, it is a great feeling to see kids have success that have went without it for so long.

That seems to be the case for the mustangs this year. They always keep fighting!

They potentially could go out in the 2nd round.

Buckett is right, without Frankfort in their district now, Paris holds the monopoly on speed.
