  1. Thanks! From my take on what I have seen from Walton is that they are a very classy group, hope they improve as we progress!
  2. Good to see the birds get back on the winning track, I guess the sun did come come up in Ft. Thomas last weekend.
  3. Congrats to Cooper! Sounds like the Jags are legit this year.
  4. Sounds like bracken had a good plan and really limited a lot of the athletes at Ludlow. I haven't got to watch a bracken game in a while but I do know their Coach so I follow them regularly.
  5. Sounds like the polar bears are much improved, I was able to listen to some of the game.
  6. Sounded like a heck of a game, Congrats Ludlow, Bracken keep your head up, you were in a game no one expected you to be in until the very end.
  7. Would like to see the Rams pull it off but my head tells me Ashland will be too much.
  8. It looks that way, they were very balanced statistical against Newport.
  9. Ouch! is Ludlow that good? Bracken was terrible last year and it was a closer margin.
  10. Going to take Walton in this one, Would love to see Holy Cross bounce back to where they were a few years ago though!
  11. Just by looking at the stats it looks like the Blackburn kid can play.
  12. How good is Newport this year? Are they down or is Ludlow that up?
  13. That is a massive offensive front at the 1A level. How is Ludlow up front?
  14. Looks like Nick Parker, Logan Teegarden and Tad Fisher from what I've been able to find. I know Bracken is supposed to have a huge line and a big fullback this year, not sure on names, I will try to find out. Bishop was 5-6 for 149 yards and a TD in game one.
  15. I think it will be a tighter game. It will come down to whether or not Bracken's run game can consistently move the sticks.
  16. Summary 1st Quarter BC — Nick Parker, 11-yard run (Logan Teegarden kick), 5:01. BC — Trey Deaton, 73-yard pass from Tristen Bishop (Logan Teegarden kick), 2:19. BC — Jake Spear, 2-yard run (kick failed), 1:27. 2nd Quarter BC — Logan Teegarden, 5-yard run (Logan Teegarden run), 10:08. BC — Tad Fisher, 14-yard run (Logan Teegarden kick), 3:08. 3rd Quarter BC — Will Evans, 7-yard run (Logan Teegarden kick), 11:09. BC — Mason Tucker, 35-yard interception retiurn (Logan Teegarden), 5:46. SC — Kyle Whitham, 10-yard run (Mike Gatto run), 2:32. 4th Quarter SC — Gabe Streett, 4-yard run (run failed), 1:17 Found the scoring summary, I haven't seen that stats anywhere though.
  17. From the Delaware stuff I am familiar with for instance you want to run Buck Sweep to the right: 121 buck sweep would denote that 100 would be the formation, 20 being buck sweep series, and 1 being the POA, to the left would be 929 Buck sweep with 900 being 100 formation flipped, 20 would be the buck sweep series still and this time 9 would be the POA. I know a lot of coaches don't really favor this system of numbering and would simply call it 28 buck sweep etc.
  18. Hole Numbers? Sounds like his coach needs fired for such an absurd old timey idea of running players through certain holes! In all honesty that's a pretty cool story and idea.
  19. Bracken lost one guy to graduation this past season, from talking to their coaches they have around 25-30 in the weight room right now. They were crazy young last year, they return everything for the next two seasons, I look for the district change to benefit them in the long run. They should have another decent 2-3 year run coming up.
  20. I agree entirely, I would have liked to have seen him got the Beechwood job. I want to think he applied for it before Rash got it, not that Rash hasn't done a great job. But I do think Montgomery has done a fine job with the hand he has been dealt. He had Beechwood down at Halftime at Dayton and that is an accomplishment in itself.
  21. The problems there are much past the coach. You can successfully recruit your hallways for about a week then the kids find out the work required isn't for them. Show up, Recruit Hallways, Make adjustments, The theory sounds good but too many variables are involved.
  22. And that is probably and understatement! He does a fine job there with what he's got.
