What's the word around Nelson County? Is Nelson County football, filled with tradition, pride, and success a changing environment? Or is Egli not the right guy for the job? From hearing conversations with athletes both past and present, rumor has it he's not the same coach.

Any prediction of how many will be open for this offseason? Surely not the same number as last off season. I'm guessing half the number...somewhere between 20 to 25 openings.

Some of the jobs I am curious about are West Jessamine, Nelson County, Casey County, Seneca and I am sure some others but those just off the top of my head.

Why Casey County? They have a local guy coaching them that seems to be doing fairly well there.

I thought this is the Seneca guy's first year on the job... Unless it's just a terrible fit, I can't see them letting him go so soon.

I know of 3 that may come open. Two coaches have talked that they may retire from coaching after this year. One coach is in line for an administration position next year and will have to give up coaching.

Over. I've read where it's been an average of that the last few years as is (almost 40), with last year taking the cake in over 50. I don't see it slowing down.

In fairness to the players and coaches, let's just table this discussion until after the season is over.
