Lloyd was in complete control but you are exactly right, Dayton did not quit at all. The QB took some big hits and kept coming back. I also liked number 16 for Dayton, seemed like he was all over the field.

I thought he should have been on the floor alot more last year. I love that kids game.

I like Parker Stansberry from dixie and Cheatum from Lloyd as 2 dark horses for this list.

Lloyd should be able to get the ball moving against Dayton, 2 6A teams out of the gate was tough. I am looking for the first Lloyd win. 21-0 Juggs!!!

Like BB said, all that came in the second half when Lloyd got wore down because they play defense 95% of the game. When the offense starts moving this Lloyd team will be OK.

Lloyd needs to stay healthy and contain Conners QB, easier said than done but that is what needs to happen. Juggs are down a few players but get a few back also so we will see, another game that they will overmatched, could be a repeat of last week. Go Juggs.

I hope you are saying that kids in general are not dedicated and not just the kids on Lloyds football team this year? Those kids work very hard and put in alot of time, they were very simply over matched. No coach in NKY could have made a difference Friday night, plain and simple. Now, that does not excuse the coaching staff for the job that was done Friday or even in the last few years. Coach Lucas is good coach and a good person but I think has surrounded himself with bad coaches. But please don't question the determination and work ethic of kids that were in a no win situation.

Nothing has changed at Lloyd as far as coaching, the coaching staff or style of play, the only thing that has changed is that they have gotten younger. When does young equal headed in the right direction? The first few weeks of the schedule will be tough for the Juggs, after week 3 we should see what this team has and what it can do in 2A this year.

I think when the season is over Vocke will make his case for being the best running back in NKY, I also think Seth Bruns is as talented as any running back in NKY and doesn't get enough recognition. I agree with History, this will be the game of the week, the best running back match up at least. I wish I could be there to watch, but for a prediction, i will go with Dixie 35 Beechwood 28.

Brady Hichew of NCC and Brady Asher at Lloyd played varsity in all 3 sports (football, basketbal and baseball) last year as sophmores. I agree 100%, football gives you a toughness that you need on the court, especially when you have to get to the basket.

You think he is mostly right? What is he wrong about? He is on point, Lloyd does not need teams like Holmes and Conner on the schedule until they can complete with those teams. I am a Lloyd guy and I will always pull for my Juggs but they have their hands full this friday. Too much size and speed to overcome, the only thing that could slow down Holmes is Lloyd keeping Holmes offense on the sidelines, if not its going to be a long night. GO JUGGS!!

I think so but I also dont think he played last year either. I think he won a dunk contest somewhere this summer, I haven't seen the kid so I didn't comment on him. It would nice to add some more size and talent no doubt about it.

They return every player from last years team. Cheatum will be the key, if he stays on the floor and plays hard they will be in every game. They are still a young team with only 3 seniors, the juniors are going to have to step up, Asher, Moore, Hall. Niko carter will have to run this offense as a sophmore and I think be asked to defend some good point guards in NKY. Not alot of size after Cheatum, 6'6" but I think they will surprise some teams, they will be a better offensive team this year, Brady Asher can shoot the basketball and score, Nikko Hall can get to the basket and finish. John danks will do the dirty work in the paint. If McCaskill gets more consistent with his jump shot, this team will be real good. Teams will have to defend them and not just out score them like last year.

So why didn't he play last year? At least he sounds athletic and you can never have enough athletes.

Sounds like a welcome addition to a Lloyd team that is bringing everyone back from last year. What grade is he in? Did he play for ryle last year?

Asher, Brown and Plageman at Lloyd are doing real well. Asher and Brown have great years on the mound and Plageman doing good behind the plate.
