Congratulations, I will repeat what has already been said, he is a great athlete and person. Good luck!!! -
Brady Asher and Tyler York from LLoyd. Asher P/ 3rd should have breakout season pitching and York CF is as good defensively as anyone in NKY and he has a ton of speed.

LLoyd will have Dylan McGuire, Aaron Warren, Brady Asher, Addison Brown, Sam Banta and I think Jeremy Pittman is still battling arm injury.

Newport Football And Coahing Staff In Review
Alwaysright replied to Einstein70's topic in KY Football (High School)
You have an alumni of that school that went on and had a successfull college football career come back and take over as the head coach. You should be happy that you have a young, energetic guy that has a stake in that school and wants to turn it around. Don't put too much stock in youth league and freshman records, the players change and develope differently. There is nothing that Newport needs to worry about, if you want to run him out, call me so I can drive him to Lloyd. -
You must not have read my entire post and they have had every chance to show it, they have played all year. I was complementing Dillon on how hard he runs the ball and how well he has played.
-
I agree, what does breakout game mean? If he gets the bulk of the carries he needs to do enough to move the chains. Dylan McGuire and his recievers are going to win this one. With that being said, if Bellvue looks at Smith as just a freshman then they will be in for a rude awakening, he runs hard, he is just not a break away running back. He will do his damage from the 30 in, running down hill. Go Juggs!!
-
Its the same thing every week with the Juggs, they need to stop the run, nothing new this week. Bellvue is a running team, if they are going to beat you make them do it throwing the ball. Lloyd needs to sell out to stop the run and find some offense to replace Chappie if he does not go this week. Right now I would say things are lining up for Bellvue but a team backed into a corner is dangerous. Bellvue in a close one But I hope I am wrong. Go Juggs!!

Lloyd Memorial 2009/2010
Alwaysright replied to gold sunrise's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
this team is going to be even younger than I thought before. Could be very long season, they will have to be ready to play every night. Like I said, I think it will be hard to overcome mistakes but Im ready to see them in action. Go Juggs -
Dylan McGuire, Aron Warren, Brady Asher and Addison Brown gives Lloyd a talented pitching staff. Look for Asher and Brown to have breakout year as a sophmore and a freshman.
-
Well we are winning and you can't be upset about that, an ugly win is better than a pretty loss. I know Newport had at least 5 turnovers and to Lloyds credit they made them pay each time. I don't think their defense was tested last week that will not be the case this week. I dont think you will see the unforced turnovers from Holy Cross, we have to be strong against the run and our running game has picked up speed, Chappie and the O line playing much better. Keep Holy Cross on defense and we can win this one. Go Juggs!!!
-
I do not know EJ but I am always happy to see NKY athletes go on and play at the collegiate level. Good Luck at WKU EJ!!!!!!
-
Have to give the juggs the nod in this one. They are playing winning football. I think the juggs have too much, looks like the running game is coming along and McGuire is playing great at QB. The defense should be able to conrol this one. Lloyd keeps rolling this week, 28 to 7. Go Juggs.

Cheatum needs to play hard at both ends, they go as far as he can take them. They will be very young, could be 2 juniors and three sophmores starting. They will definately be overmatched in just about every game. Defense and controling turnovers will be huge for this team, they will not be able to run and overcome mistakes. -
Should Cov Cath install lights?
Alwaysright replied to Colonels_Wear_Blue's topic in KY Football (High School)
I can't believe there is this much discussion over this. Why would Cov Cath want to change one of the best traditions around here? They have the best of both worlds, "Friday Night Lights" and being the only game in town on saturday. Under no circumstance does Cov Cath need lights, don't do it!!!!!!!! -

Alwaysright replied to Alwaysright's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
He will the most expirience and they will be very young, possibly 2 juniors, 3 sophmores and a freshman could sneak in there as well.Cheatum has to play hard every minute of every game for them to have a chance. This team should be a very good in 2 years. There will alot of nights that they are out manned, I hope they use the season to get better and be prepared for district play. -
Any thoughts on the Juggs upcoming season, they will be one of the youngest varsity teams around, graduated 6 Seniors from last years team.
