Football/Basketball Stars

Featured Replies

With the upcoming football season and basketball season on deck I was wondering which players around the state standout in both sports.

I have noticed in most cases (not all) players that play football display that toughness on the court as well as the field. :madman:

I'm a firm believer that these players make a HUGE difference on the court.

Corey Rogers from Clark County comes to mind.

James Quick-Trinity may be the best of the two/three(track) sport stars

Neal Pawsat, Jordan Gilbert, Tyler Black and Josh Harris are studs in both sports for Mason County.

Hickey from Christian County, second best b-ball player in the state, and football stud!

Josh Forrest of Paducah Tilghman...big time prospect in both football and basketball.

Devonte (sp) Parker, WR at Ballard.

Anthony Hickey for Christian County. Mr. Basketball candidate and lines up at three different positions on offense for the football Colonels

I agree with you. He dosn't just play both sports but, he is a beast both on the football field and basketball court. He is 6'5 255 lbs, TD/DE in football and center for the GRC Cards.

JV Hooker - Clay County

Hes a great athlete! Another player from the 13th that excells at both is Ben Madon at Bell County.

Jake Giesler- Newport Central Catholic

Brady Hichew of NCC and Brady Asher at Lloyd played varsity in all 3 sports (football, basketbal and baseball) last year as sophmores. I agree 100%, football gives you a toughness that you need on the court, especially when you have to get to the basket.
