Fairview 42- Raceland-26, Rams will win against Painsville, then lose to Russell 38-20

I think Raceland has a decent team and are ranked deservedly,however in fairness, their 2 wins have come against 2 teams with a combined 0-10 record.

Traffic is awful left early, hoping they hold on, any updates on injured player? OR, devils are ugly! lol

Russell shouldn't need any words after the past few seasons! but he is welcome to try! Hope the kid is ok that was injured.

I think a big key is not letting any mistakes by a young team compound into more miscues. One play at a time.

thank-you oldrambler, "RED-DEVILRUSH" may be appropriate for Russell,considering the offense we have run forever, I do like to see Raceland do well. "RAMRAGE" does sound like they are going to kick some butt on the field. :lol:

'RAMRAGE" would be fitting for football ..... Devin Thomas will make a difference, and I expect will be a leader on this team.

This team can do very well if they stay healthy,my concern would be depth if they have an injury or 2. They have alot of underclassmen that would have to be ready to play at a high level,and that might be a year or maybe 2 away. They have the talent,it is just going to take a little time. These underclassmen will grow so much between now and next season,physically and strenghthwise. Overall, future looks bright. After this season,Russell will be pretty much depleted. Hope Davidson is healthy all season, will be a huge difference when Russell plays Raceland.

Darius,Dustin, and Travis are all great athletes. Murphy can't be caught if he gets in the open field. If these guys had played last year,it is hard telling how much better GC would be. Good luck this season!

Hope everything goes well for all the teams holding camp this week. It is blazing hot and will be a tough week . Lets hope all the teams can avoid injuries and be full strength throughout the season. My honest prediction will be Russell to beat Raceland this season, but will probably lose a few in the upcoming years. Hope we all make a run in the playoffs, will be cheering both teams on! :dancingpa

Raceland should do very well this season and better the next few years. Like most teams however, a couple of injuries to key players such as Reed or Caudill could make for long season. Reed is very srong and fast, and is needed healthy on both sides of the ball. The younger Rams will get some experience and the future looks great for the team.

Yes he is,unless something has changed. I think he will do very well and will give some db's headaches trying to cover.

Don't know their numbers, but they will be very fast and athletic. If Travis Murphy gets loose,forget about catching him, Linthecum will be a matchup problem for teams,fast,athletic,and 6'5. Darius Jackson playing will be a big plus as well. I don't think GC wil be down as much as people think this season,but a very tough schedule, they could surprise a few teams.

A 5-5 Greenup Co team that was so hyped to start the season has to be a bigtime failure. I think they have the horses but people can see Copley is not all that. Mason letting the young guys play now

exactly! not hard rooting against this........they mouth the entire game and they play dirty football. Hope they got their last score on LCA's freshmen. LCA has beaten Raceland 4/5 times we played,but we play with class as do they,either way

Hope qb is ok as well, but I am glad LCA blew them out. I thought Fairview would play them closer, but playing away and for a district title might have taken experience.

LCA is who I am pulling for.
