I just hope we can keep our offense on the field and run that clock.....move those chains and play mistake free football. Penalties really hurt us against Fairview and we'd get into 3rd and long situations, we have to play smart and play hard every play. Might need a back adjustment sidelinedoc after this one!!! GOOD LUCK GREENUP!! Your team and fans have alot to be proud of this season, and the future looks great! I have a kid in Greenup district and one in Raceland, also a daughter who is a Greenup grad class of 2009.

Transferring for athletics is easier than for academics. I was seeking a school that made my child do his work and have nothing "given" in regard to grades. My son is an avg player, and when I first called last year seeking a chance to tranfer, I was told the classes were full. Later, I was called and told...."we can always make room for one more".....if I had a 4.0+ GPA student who didn't play sports,we would have never been able to transfer in my opinion.

It was nice when we had Rister as a starter or a backup, it is easy to get a QB banged up and we could be in a world of hurt if that were to happen. Can't wait to see Barr on the field, should help this team alot. It seems this team is bonding, you can see it on and off the field. Lets go RAMS !!!!

I was shocked when I heard both were gone from the team, good luck to both young men. With Barr back and healthy, adding a good ground threat should take some heat off Farley......for the most part these teams have looked for the pass and could go after our QB. Reed is a soph., has he played much at QB in the past?

Rister and Farley were injured at different times so we had experience coming in. Does anyone know where Jett Troxler and Rister transferred to?

We also have to hope Farley stays healthy.

Rams freshman QB plays special teams varsity, and played a series of downs against Ashland, after we were blown out, Rister was still hurt and I am sure coaches at that point couldn't risk Farley getting hurt. I am ok with all that played the JV Greenup game, can only help our young players.

Some people were yelling at the coaches to put someone in who knew how to throw the ball.:confused:........can't please everyone huh?

what positions were these starters playing for GC ? I think it was a pretty good game to watch regardless. Anytime it comes down to a dropped pass in the endzone from having a chance to tie, it was worth watching. Our JV players will only get better from the experience, win or lose.

Has the freshman game scheduled for Thursday been canceled? Hopefully the young Rams can learn from these games, the coaching staff does get to check out players that might be able to help out on varsity.

hey there Ram Fan04, guess we are both hoping for a big win Friday against GC. We should have beat Fleming Co and if not for the fumble should have lost to Boyd Co. I think the Rams will be focused, motivated and beat GC handily. We really need this game, a loss Friday could really emotionally hurt this team.
