Yes. If officials are consistently enforcing the rules and points of emphasis, irrespective of someone's opinion of the value of those rules, then they most certainly would be rated as top officials for a region. The inverse of your argument defies logic: If these officials are NOT enforcing the rules and points of emphasis, then they must be top officials in the region ?

So are you saying that these officials were not calling within their PCA ?

He was also recently honored with a "lifetime achievement award" (sorry Mustang, I couldn't recall exactly) from a local grade school that feeds BBHS for the work he has done there for his entire life. Mustang is a guy who has dedicated his entire life to the betterment of youth sports. The number of kids he has coached and / or mentored, the monies he has raised, the support and encouragement and the love he shows for his people is hard to describe. They broke the mold with this guy....

Disclosure to whom ? What are you looking for ? Where do you get that officials are not accountable to someone ? If I read what you are ranting, it appears you want some type of list that displays who was "counseled" about what improvements are needed. Who, besides a select few like yourself, would want to spend the time to read a game evaluation of an official ? What purpose would that serve someone like you, since you have no bearing on the outcome of the evaluation ? In principle I get what you are saying, but it seems to be that you want some type of Scarlet Letter listing...I just don't know that the label cures your concern(s). More likely, it just gives fodder to those fans that have already determined who should and shouldn't be on the floor because of their criteria....which doesn't matter anyway.

Coaches have the ability to rate all officials, as well as scratch if they really do not want them working their games. I assume you want some kind of "public" transparency about officials evaluations ? If you work at a company that will provide outsiders with your performance evaluation it sounds like you have an HR disclosure issue….
