  1. Dayton has some good athletes this year. They do not seem to be under control very well though. If those good athletes pull it together, then they have a shot. I think the mudd helps Dayton more than WV. I hope that Dayton wins, but I feel that WV pulls it out in the end. Good game though. WV by 6.
  2. SK will not have much of a fight in this one. Score is closer than the game and SK comes away with a 17 point win.
  3. Ludlow has a really good QB. He is really athletic and can make plays. Bellevue's D Line has to get pressure on him and keep contain. Their DB's also have to play well and not allow the big play down field. Bellevue is looking really strong and it is very unlikely that the Bellevue Coaching staff has not developed a game plan for Ludlow's QB. I don't think Ludlow's D can stop Bellevue's O. Bellevue is solid and very sound. Very few penaltys and very few turnovers. As long as their D keeps up what they have been doing in district play, this game will not be close. Bellevue has proven that if it is rainy and muddy, they are not affected. So this should not be much of a game. I predict Bellevue by 30+.
  4. I think it shows a lot from schools that don't shy away from allowing a girl to try and participate. I know that some coaches would be against a girl on the team. I give Coach Eckstein credit at Bellevue for doing it. From what I have seen of the team, it has paid off. She is much better PAT Kicker than tehy have had in recent years.
  5. X will take this one, but not till late in the game. Lokk for them to pull away in the 4th winning by 2 scores.
  6. Don't think NC can stay with CH this year. Central Hardin takes a big win by about 24.
  7. Beechwood by 40 at least. Ludlow just doesn't have what Beechwood does.
  8. James Sullivan has the game of his life for the Tigers as he returns to Dayton. Watch out for some fireworks.
  9. I think X wins by 10, but would love to see the reverse happen and the Rocks pull out the win. Just don't see it this year.
  10. Nelson has some potential but I don't think they are quite there yet. The coaching staff is doing a good job though. It wasn't that long ago that they didn't win a game. I think Greenwood wins this one and moves to 2-0. Nelson will fight though. They just won't have enough in the tank come the 4th quarter.
  11. Scott County takes it with a big win. Score doesn't show because backups allow a couple scores. Final - SC by 14
  12. I think Ludlow pulls it out, but will be close as the Panthers have had the short week. Having to play Brossart on Monday hurts them. They escape with a close 4 point win.
  13. Scott will take the win against Lloyd this week. Scott's Qb will have another huge gameand no chance of Llyod stopping him.
  14. Buckler goes for another 300 and Wills even passes for over 100. Bellevue D continues the trend and the second consecutive shut out occurs.
  15. I'll take Lloyd by 10. They need this win and know it.
  16. JH destroys Doss in this one by at least 24, maybe more like 40.
  17. I think as long you are not going with your first string and you keep scoring it is ok. It is not a team that has a decent 2nd or 3rd string fault that those kids might be better thant hose kids lined up against them. If a 2nd string RB scores a TD late in a game, then good for him and good for that offensice line. They desereve to celebrate their accomplishments during teh week on Friday night as well.
  18. I think Buckler goes for 300 to try and get back to the top slot of rushers in the Northern Ky area.
  19. I remember back when NC won State in 96 and the town basically shut down to go to all of the games. That was what high schol football should be like. Those were the days...
  20. Walton's JV team beat Bellevue last year 3 times. Many of those kids are now playing on Friday nights. I think WV will play hard and sound. I don't believe that they can win in the end. Their QB is not real strong passing the ball. Defense plays hard, but I am not sure they can do much to Buckler, Slater, and the rest of the Bellevue backs. They run hard and generally get good blocking. If Bellevue overlooks WV then it will be a war. I think Coach Eckstein will have them ready by Friday though. Bellevue wins convincingly putting up 40+ and alloing just 7.
  21. Brossart whould be well rested, however, I heard that last week they only had about half their team at practice due to H1N1 around the school. I know they are not permitted to practice without school being in session, so I look for Ludlow to win this game. Hard to win without practicing. Ludlow wins by 2 TDs
  22. St. X rolls over Central and quickly. Game over by half.
