Key district game for both teams. Bardstown coming off a big win against Danville will be fired up to get back to business. Washington County is down a little as is the entire district. I'll take Bardstown 42 to 17.

It won't be that much. Bardstown prevails, but in a businesslike game. Last year's game was a shootout, David Clark will slow it down and not let it get to that point this year. Tigers also have personnel issues.

What kind of personnel issues, do you mean injuries or discipline or sickness or what?

I gotta disagree. Bardstown's defense has improved a great deal, and I can foresee them doing to the Commanders what Bethlehem did, and then some. The Eagles held WC to minus-27 yards on the ground in the rout.

Even with the Tigers' injury issues, they'll roll over WC, and a running clock at some point would be no surprise.

I expect Bardstown to be the number one seed in their district and who knows what could happen come November.

Bardstown 35

Washington Co 7
