The Elder faithfull started arriving at Trinity this year between 5:00 and 5:30. They came in three commercial busses and in many campers. They had the grills going strong. Between both fan bases, St. Mathews was covered in smoke with the smell of meat being grilled. It was a beautiful thing. Besides every seat being sold, they were standing 3-4 deep completely around the field. A great highlight from the Elder game below.

We all know it is about nothing more than $$$. The KHSAA doesn't care about anything else in this matter. However, I do believe we need to keep bringing it up or the issue will die and never get fixed.
A friend of mine who lives in NKY and sent his two sons to Cincy St. X for academics told me that they could not play sports while residing in NKY. It was a OHSAA rule.
In a five game tournament, you are going to have one clunker. Hopefully, we got ours out of the system in the first half. Hatcher will be back next week which should improve the pass rush. Giving up a few too many deep balls. How about Dalen Dawkins and Jabari Jordan? They were exceptional tonight.
James Quick reminds me of a wr version of Shaun Alexander. Just runs by people with plenty left.
If Trinity gets to game three, they will have to play on the road and who knows what kind of weather will be taking place. Also, they carry a huge bullseye on their backs. That will be tough for any team to overcome.
It is much harder than most people think to judge a field goal from under the upright. They can be easily misjudged. That is why you usually see both officials look at each other and verify before signaling. The referee or umpire if he can turn around actually has the best view.
While Lex. Cath. kept their starters in the whole game. This is how you lose numbers. If I can't get into a game with a 56-0 score, good chance I don't go back out for football.
I have the upgraded sports package and it wasn't available on any channel. Even all the replays are of some Ohio game with about 50 people in attendance.
Here in Louisville, I was at a fundraiser, set the dvr, description said "Highlands at Ryle", came home and had some game from northern Ohio on. Did this happen to anyone else?
How do people get onto the field during a football game? Are you kidding me? This is the dumbest thing I have heard. Are there no gates, fences or security? Surely, the KHSAA has rules on this.
Anybody else confused with the Ballard QB change in the second half. #10 seem to be effective. He can hurt you with his arm and legs. They stilled scored with #5 the pocket passer and then brought #10 back in when the game was over. I didn't get it.
Why go to Indianapolis when you can go right across the river and play at least 20 very good teams public and private. Of course that would put the streak in serious jeopardy.
