St. X getting healthy just in time. They are the defending champs.

If BG keeps playing well, they will get their chance to prove themselves. Why worry about it now?

Though Trinity's back ups did well, it is still not the same when you are without your starting qb. In my opinion, Trinity threw a bit of a clunker tonight. Dropped passes, so many penalties. Tough game between both St. X's. Bowling Green is very good but I am not ready to discount Highlands.

Yes, the Rock penalties were huge and ended a lot of drives or created deep holes. They had a second and thirty on the last drive. Came up short and a first down would have sealed it. The defense played very well. Jason Hatcher was wreaking havoc all night in the Purples backfield.

Good win with Trinity down to it's 4th qb. Travis Wright:sick, Cody Wolf :hurt, Blake Bowie:hurt, Noe comes in and makes some big plays. BG kicker makes 49, 46 yd field goals. Tough game for both offensives. Some head scratchers by the officials on both sides. Trinity had a big number of unsportsman calls on big third downs. Didn't get those. But a win is a win. Spirit week starts tomorrow.

Erlanger is one of those cities that changes dynamics every 10-15 years. New young families turn into empty nesters. Then it starts over again. It is in the middle of the swings that Lloyd seems to prosper or hit the bottom. This may be a time where the city has older residents. The street I grew up on that flourished with kids is now filled with retirees. Not a kid on the street.
