  1. If everyone is going to make the playoffs, then no need to keep score during the regular season. Let's just draw for seeding before the playoffs and everyone will feel good. Yay!
  2. I think this will be a very competitive game. Close at half. Trinity pulls away in second half. 31-17 Rocks.
  3. I think if Boone went to the spread, they would attract more players and be a force again.
  4. For elementary school kids. When my youngest was in the 6th grade and a player for the other team went down they all took a knee. The ref yelled at them to get up and said you are club now not rec..
  5. I was at Big Blue Madness and had to miss. Please give up some details.
  6. Wow! SK has an indoor practice facility. I do not believe Trinity or St. X has one of those. That should eliminate a few excuses.
  7. I do not have a dog in the fight. But for a top flight program, I don't find that list all too impressive. There are some solid programs on there and some who are decent but surely not daunting.
  8. This seems silly to me. I really do not believe that radio broadcasts keep people away. The people that want to go will go no matter what. The only people who listen most likely can't go. I bet we are talking about a small number of people. Shame on those schools.
  9. Yes I was there sitting 5 rows behind the Trinity bench. I saw Trinity make numerous substitutions. One in particular was two new safetys on the fourth and one that went 70 yds for a td. As a fan of Trinity I was paying more attention to what they were doing rather then what Highlands was doing. I am sure you were doing the same from a Highlands perspective.
  10. You don't think Trinity was substituting when they were up three scores most of the game?
  11. The only time he used the players names was when Trinity put in a new quarterback. So he had a roster. He just chose to try his stand-up act.
  12. Some quotes made by the Seneca p.a. announcer. "Terrible pass by Trinity quarterback falls incomplete!" "A more than favorable spot by the ref gives Trinity a first down." "Trinity going for more points!" This was after an incomplete pass with second and third stringers in against the Seneca first team defense. "Smith's pass falls incomplete while the Seneca reciever had the Trinity corner beat by at least five yards!" He never used the players names or numbers. Everything was just Trinity and position. So unprofessional.
  13. Deshaun "Day Day" Butler put a hit on Smith on his last pass in the third quarter. He got help getting off the field. I think that the Seneca coaching staff thought that there was no reason to keep him in to get hurt in a blow -out. I have seen all of Trinity's games (including Highlands) and Demarcus Smith throws the tightest ball of all. That 65 yd pass with such a high arch was a thing of beauty. Division 1 velocity as well.
  14. Lloyd better get the program back on track or under the new alignment, they won't have a playoff game anytime soon. As an alum. this pains me greatly.
  15. Exactly. Let the haters hate while we collect trophies.
  16. I think Lloyd better step it up if they want to play in another playoff game.
  17. In the voice of the lady from the lottery commercials; "Thank you Larry.".
  18. I totally get you but I bet the Male and Ballard fans will disagree.
  19. Discount Beechwood at your own peril. Their record means nothing because their losses have not come against 1A schools. Come playoff time they become focused and feel it is their right to be in the state championship game. Beating them at home is near impossible. Really looking forward to following the 1A playoffs.
  20. I think this game can be summed up in one word "speed".
  21. He played a series and became dehydrated and etc...
  22. How does the St. X defense compare to the Cincy St. X and Bowling Green defense? The Trinity offense has been sluggish lately.
