I haven't seen as many games as you, but the ones I did see, they seem to labor against the press. Their loss to Eastern was a direct result of turnovers from being unable to break the press in my opinion.

According to the story they are in the same district and must play again. I had a similar situation when I was coaching. When we got up by 30 midway through the second quarter and it was apparent that the gap wasn't going to close, I allowed only my 8th and 9th players to shoot after ten passes. Not fair to the other seven players, maybe, but it was one game out of thirty five where they had many other opportunities.

I didn't just pick Ursuline, I said of the teams I watched play. Big difference. Didn't see some of the others.

They were the lone ranked Kentucky team. Some teams I saw play that were ranked higher but in my opinion they would beat are #59 Bergen Catholic (NJ), #39 Chaparral (AZ), #33 Ursuline (OH), #15 Hoover (AL) and #13 Hamilton (AZ). It would be great to see them crack the top 25 next season. In my opinion, St. Edward who finished #3 should be National Champion. They went 15-0 against the nations toughest schedule.

Would you feel good about winning if the reason you won was because the best teams were left out?

This is the way Oak Hill became the high school basketball powerhouse it is. Virginia schools refused to schedule them. So they left the VHSAA and scheduled all of high school's best basketball teams from around the country. Now they get players from all over the country, to play on the biggest stage and to be seen by all of the best Division 1 coaches.

How about Kentucky vs. Trinity.

As long as Trinity and St. X keep winning, the haters will keep hating. Nothing new.
